I'd like to create a discussion board or forum within teams for my students.
I can't seem to find a tab for this. Id prefer it not to be a third party app either. Given all the other comunication features I'm very suprised that this isn't possible.
I am currently the PM on a project that is being developed by an external company. All technical and administrative communication is over email. I feel a forum would be perfect to replace email for 90% of this traffic. Plus, people who need to know certain information don't have to chase after other people (usually multiple times) to get added to a distribution. Conversely, people won't get unwanted emails because they were added to a distribution because of an earlier need.
I'm looking at Yammer now, but I am not looking for a chat window. I need hierarchical topics that hold discussion threads. It seems like a no-brainer that a tool like Teams would have this.
we are having this issue right now and we are force to use Yammer plugin but it's not the same. Having this within Teams would be really great
I love the idea to be able to create a forum on Teams.
I think it would be a create option to internal collect solved problems for the company.
