Since the update during the week of May 7, 2018, every time I join a meeting, my system volume gets adjusted to be extremely high, which is highly uncomfortable with headphones.
Previously, the volume wasn't adjusted at all. Please restore it to this state.
The global volume automatically increasing to 20 is now fixed. If you are changing the Teams app volume you may still have an issue.
Thanks for your feedback. Please let us know if you are still having issues.
I completely agree this is not working. I have to go into System Settings -> Sounds -> Advanced Sound settings every time to reset the volume.
There's nothing "partially done" about this. Every time a call comes in, my music volume goes way up. And the lowest in-call volume is loud enough to make my ears ring.
Don't ignore this issue. I'm losing my hearing.

This is causing me health issues, I can reduce my Teams volume to zero to mute it completely but if I move one pixel higher, the volume is unbearably high

Volume keeps resetting to 100% for each call. Please fix this
Way too loud when using headphones via bluetooth, and my volume is set to minimum.
Nowadays a big part of users use headphones via bluetooth, so I think it should be urgent to fix this.
It is so loud that it can be harmful to my hearing. I'm going to examine my hearing with the doctor. If my hearing got worse, and you dont't fix this issue, I am seriously considering suing Microsoft Teams.
PC windows 10 with a bluetooth device, at each meeting or conversation start, the volume is 100%...fix this please
Was having this issue with my Amazon EchoBuds via Bluetooth.
I checked all the settings I could find in my PC, and still the volume was WAY too loud in MS Teams (but not everywhere).
I then noticed that in my Bluetooth devices, I had one called EchoBuds Headset and another called EchoBuds Headphones. When I switched to the one called Headset, the volume is now seemingly controllable!

This is still way too loud - even at maximum volume for bluetooth headphones that don't have an independent volume control

I don't think this is fixed. Every time I start up a Teams meeting my volume goes up to around 75% and is absolutely annoying.

Users have been reporting Loud volume in Teams Meetings
Problem still happening.
Using Bluetooth headphones. I have teams volume at 1 and it is still too loud (and I have bad hearing). The range is not granular enough and this should be directly tied to the overall volume control. I should NOT have to go into advanced options to change the volume in teams. AND you have not fixed the volume going to full for each call.
Do we know when this is going to get fixed? Hopefully its on the radar as all other platforms have it already.
TOO LOUD!!!!!!!! Everything is on minimum and sound is still TOO LOUD!
Please help me here. I have Tinnitus - urgent -urgent -urgent.
I dont have that problem with Skype FB or Webex.
Nor on a telephone or my mobile.
Please help me - Or is Microsoft going to pay my hearing damage ??
Sure isn't fixed.
- If someone calls my desk while I'm listening to music through headphones, the volume suddenly goes way up, sufficient to scare the daylight out of me.
- The lowest in-call volume I can set (before muting) is way too loud. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm losing my hearing because of this.

Is Microsoft ignoring this? It appears to be several months now with no response and likely several customers like myself with hearing damage.
FIX THIS PLEASE!!!
Every meeting starts with the volume slider at 20. I have to take out my earphones and could use them as loud speakers on this setting.
Adjusting the slider to 0 makes the volume bearable.
I guess it would have been better if we get volume control in teams
