Since the update during the week of May 7, 2018, every time I join a meeting, my system volume gets adjusted to be extremely high, which is highly uncomfortable with headphones.
Previously, the volume wasn't adjusted at all. Please restore it to this state.
The global volume automatically increasing to 20 is now fixed. If you are changing the Teams app volume you may still have an issue.
Thanks for your feedback. Please let us know if you are still having issues.
Even at lowest volume level possible (set via teams slider) it is still way too loud.

Still having this issue!

This is still happening! Please correct soon. I'll correct the volume for one call, hang up, get on another and the volume is back 100 again and I have to reset the volume. I'm using the Jabra headset.
Can we please have this fixed? I keep having to lower the volume each time I start a call or meeting.

Still broken. Join a call and volume goes to 100% every time. Set volume to 50% as I'd like and it's fine. Get another call thirty seconds later and Teams forcefully sets my headset volume back to 100% so I have to adjust the volume back to 50% again.
This is absurd.

Still not fixed...Spent hours on the phone w company tech support - updating drivers, troubleshooting...no luck
This really needs to be fixed. Wasting a lot of time and energy going to settings EVERY time I get a call - which is MANY times per day. Microsoft - DO YOUR JOB.
this is not fixed FYI - it changes on my usb headphones every single day - 20%. I need it at like 5%

Same problem on iOS 14.4 - volume goes to max and doesn't respond to the device volume controls

I too still have the problem, it doesnt go up to 20, it goes up to 100% , I adjust manually every sound so it doesnt kill my ears, I have a setup that I like, and every time I get a call, it resets and I have to adjust it again, and since I get call often.. this is kinda killing me haha

sometime MS-Teams auto switches the audio input device...
I do have an external soundcard with a noisegate.. So there is silence when not speaking (on purpose) .. Now the auto device switching in MS-Teams jumps to my headphone as an input device (MAC-OS)
--> Please allow user to set the devices for In- and Output and stop these auto adjustments and auto device chances...

Still an issue. Why is teams adjusting the volume at all. If I join a call and its too quiet I will turn it up. Teams doesn't need to guess a volume for me.
Teams somehow ignores the master volume. No matter what my master volume is set to, I get my ears destroyed when I join a meeting. Even once started, changing the master volume does nothing. I have to go to 'App volume and device preferences' and turn down the Teams App.

I have the exact same problem.
I`m using blue tooth headphones.
I have the same issue 'my system volume gets adjusted to be extremely high, which is highly uncomfortable with headphones'
