Add-in for Mac
As a Mac user, I'd like to be able to create Microsoft Teams meeting links via an Outlook Add-in, similar to the add-in available on Windows.
Hello, looking for a standalone installer for Teams Outlook plugin. We have on-prem Exchange and need remote staff to be able to RDP to terminal server, open Outlook calendar, create a Teams meeting (but not join a meeting since it will crash RDP server), minimize RDP session, then join Teams meeting from local computer. We can not do that without a standalone Outlook plugin installer, such as the ones other web conferencing platforms have like Zoom.
Plz fix so that one can get a Teams button even if you have a Volume licens! How difficult can it be???!? So many hits if you search for this problem online, so why not resolve it?
I can't believe this still hasn't been sorted out. Now that so many of us work full-time from home, being able to book a Teams meeting via Outlook is a necessity. I have the latest Outlook version and it isn't available.

Only works for ProPlus Office installations... The Volume License Office version doesn't to create meetings. Please build in support for the Volume License Office installations.

This only works if you are using Exchange Online, not if you use Exchange On-Premise. For Windows clients, both work, so I do not see this as having been fixed :-(
works also for us now, by updating program to the last version.
At least as of today, on Outlook for Mac version 16.23.1, this works. I think this can be closed

This needs to happen now. Our 100+ person agency just changed to Teams and if this is not added for Macs, we'll be forced to use (and pay for) Zoom. And at that point, we might as well just look at other collaboration platforms.

My company is migrating everyone to Teams from Skype for Business yet mac users are getting left behind.
Is this add-in for mac going to happen?

We have around 700 Mac users and are using MS Teams as our main internal collaboration platform since April last year. This month we are replacing Join.me and Webex by making Teams the default online meeting app for all staff. This ability to schedule from within outlook is a important usability improvement - would be great to see this at the start of Q3 2018 rather than the end of Q3. We are in the MS Teams TAP program, happy to be an early test site for the next version of Outlook for Mac too
Please provide an Outlook for Mac addin

One great selling point for Teams is the common experience Mac and PC and web users experience - after years of OCS, Lync and Skype client inconsistencies between the platforms - this is refreshing.
Having an Outlook plugin on the Mac for scheduling Teams meetings shows a commitment to the equality of the platforms.

In our organization, we have approx. 7000 Mac users. Most of them are from leadership of different groups. They are using Mac as their primary PC for day to day work. Also, few projects are using MS Teams as their primary communication tool and they are 100% on Mac.
Currently, we don’t have outlook plugin available for MS Teams Mac client. So, we can’t schedule MS Teams call through Outlook. They need to do this through MS Teams client which is working but doesn’t add rich experience like Outlook.
It would be great addition if MS will add Outlook plugin for MS Teams Mac client.
