MS Teams Meeting Delegation
For a meeting scheduled using Teams, it would be great to be able to delegate the organizer role so that someone else can reschedule the meeting during my absence. For instance for Executive Assistants or PTO.
Thank you for your continued feedback as this request remains on the team backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Agree, this is a must have.
This should be enabled sooner rather than later....
This feature was available in WebEx and was often used in our environment.
This is a must!

Come on Microsoft open since nearly a year. How should I sell Teams to the management without this basic feature...?
We extensively use recurring meetings were the Teams chat is used between meetings to orgnize cancellation/reschedulling.
Having the ability to have more than 1 organizer would make this much more easy on a daily basis.

please this is a must.

Yes please - it's completely daft that a repeating meeting can only be edited by 1 person.
This MUST be made available to Teams
This is a great idea. Thank you very much
With Skype - when you are added as a delegate, the phone line of the user you are managing calls for shows up on your IP phone and you are able to see when they are on a call, have answered a call, etc.
On Teams, although the delegate function is available on the app, once added, you don't see the bosses line on your phone automatically (unclear if possible at all). They have to keep me on as a delegate on Skype for this to be available. As long as it is like this, we cannot fully cutover to Teams and leave Skype.
It would be ideal to fully integrate all Skype's features relating to IP phone use with Teams. Adaptability with IP phones are a huge reason why we have the licenses we do and don't want that to be at risk when switching to Teams.
In addition to Eudes Olivier and my earlier comments, which explain this works if the scheduling and management are done in Outlook, I can also add that I understand doing it from within Teams as well is a planned upcoming feature.
Hi Mahi, User Voice is not designed for this type of discussion, it's meant for very specific feature discussion and up vote on a very targeted basis. You will have more luck on techcommunities https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/ct-p/MicrosoftTeams
how can we do setup below settings we are moving from S4B to Teams need your help guys
Do the following users settings roll over from S4B to Teams?
• response groups
• What other settings do/do not roll over from S4B to Teams?
• Can we set users to have recording as an option by default?
• Can customize recording notification prompt? We may need to meet legal requirements.
• Can we have disclaimer include "Accept" to cover legal possible requirements?
• Can we get reports on who have recorded their meetings?
Where are we at with room system compatibility?
As mentioned by Eudes Olivier, delegation is possible today.
Please note that (unlike SfB) Teams separates voice delegation from meeting delegation. For meetings, Teams inherits delegation from Outlook Calendar. The Teams plugin is able to schedule on-behalf. That's exactly the same way that a delegate would manage a non-Teams (in person) meeting in Calendar on behalf of the delegator.
At this time, this cannot be done directly from inside Teams though, only in Calendar. But the capability exists.

I have tested for my customer. For the meetings, Teams use the calendar delegation, you can create a teams meeting with the outlook client on behalf of the user. You must be connected on your teams client as the plugin need it to work.
We found a solution to this our execs use Webex
This is a well used SFB feature that is missing from Teams,
Come on Microsoft this is a basic business feature for an enterprise application.
