Out of office pop up showing up constantly for all users
We at work are in a group chat and when someone is out of office, the little grey bar ontop of the chat box keeps showing up with the info that the person is out of office and may not respond.
You can close it but every time you re-open the chat tab it pops back up.
This happens for all users in chat (about 20 participants).
Can we disable this?
We really need this fixed. In a big organization like ours it's a constant annoyance. Let a person either disable it or ACK it once and be done for the day.
Yes, please remove this out of office pop up. We have someone who will be away for 6 months. Will it pop up every day for that time? How annoying.
definitely wish you could disable this pop up..... :(

Please remove this after the first "x" is pressed.
It would be great to disable this feature!

It would be great if you could disable this feature in settings, or just look at someone's status to see that they are OOO.
Edwin Chua commented
Definitely wish you could disable this or make it so it’s a one time notification per status change
Better yet, don't show this popup for groups at all.
William Woodbury commented
Yes why is this not just another status on the user themselves like away, in a meeting etc? Why do we need a large and persistent popup for it?
Yes, for the love of God, please fix this! It makes one angry at the people who are OOO!
Please allow us to only dismiss it once. This is very annoying to keep looking at.

For the love of all things good, please get rid of this feature. No one cares about this status.

How many years do we have to wait for this function to get fixed by Microsoft????? Put your resources where there will be quick wins and knock off any of these low-hanging fruit!

Yes please fix this, we will go back to WebEx teams, this has been an issue for years and initially it was said that the issue was in development. Click it once, shouldn't come back. Also, we should be able to turn it off explicitly, I do not need to see who is out of the office, if I do not want to. I have to click this so many times a day, its stupid and the solution from MS is nothing for years. Lets get going!

Please fix this!

Please fix this Microsoft :)

PLEASE Microsoft. tiny fixes require few resources of your workforce. PLEASE just fix it
please make it happen...we should only have to close out the OOO notification once.
Click VOTE above left as well as commenting. Alstublieft!
