BUG: "Copy Join Info" button copies a useless text string instead of the meeting link.
In the Teams desktop application for both OSX and Windows, hitting the "Copy Join Info" button during a meeting copies the string:
Join Microsoft Teams Meeting Learn more about Teams
Apparently it is trying to copy the rich text body of the meeting notes, which defaults to a hyperlink with the same text. Instead, it should provide a link to the actual meeting that an outside user can click to join in. Please fix the button.

This is still an issue for me. Not sure if it is the same for everyone else. When I hit copy link, all I can paste is the last text string I copied. (E.G. I copied and pasted an email 30 minutes ago, now I'm in a meeting and tried to copy and paste the meeting link to someone else, all I can paste is the email).

Under the three dots menu (...) in a Teams meeting there is a "Meeting Details" option which provides the hyperlink to the meeting.

In the "old" Teams UI, the "Copy join info" button in Teams still copying useless text instead of a hyperlink.
In the "new" Teams UI, which has to be enabled in Settings, the "Copy join info" copies a good hyperlink but then the button turns into the "ok" check mark, making it unusable until the Participant list is closed and reopened.
Please make the "Copy join info" button a regular and fixed command in Teams UI.
EDIT: Under the three dots menu (...) in a Teams meeting there is a "Meeting Details" option which provides the hyperlink.

I can see how the rich text version is convenient for pasting into an email, but perhaps check with the OneNote team on how they handled this in their "Copy Link to Page" feature (desktop and Windows 10 versions). When I paste that into an email, I get the Rich Text version, but when I paste it into plain text, I get URIs (granted, ugly ones because it's one for HTTP and one for the onenote:// protocol, but at least usable). I bet there's a property in the clipboard API that allows developers to specify different content to be used for different targets (Rich Text editor like email and Slack vs. plain text editor like Telegram and most everywhere else). A little research could resolve this issue while still retaining the nice Rich Text feature for email and other RTEs.

Oh yes! Please fix!
It seems Teams copies a rich text to the clipboard. My hack it to paste it in a rich text editor (e.g. Office Word) and then copy the hyperlink from it for reuse in a non-rich text field, like in WhatsApp (web) or elsewhere.

Please fix as soon as possible - this is making it incredibly difficult for both us and our clients to use Teams.
