How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Schedule message to send at a later time

Often some member of our team finds themselves with a good idea or an interesting article that they want to post on MS Teams while it is fresh in their mind... at 6:00AM on a Saturday. This tends to wake people up if they keep Teams on their phone and don't have it on silent. It would be very nice to have the option to be considerate to those still in slumber and schedule a Teams message to go out at a later time. Many SMS messaging apps have this feature these days.

    Person is in a meeting or giving presentation and I don't want to bother him but also want to send a msg otherwise I may forget. On my Android ph Text Messeging app, I can schedule my messages that way I don't to remember.

    I agree that this would be a great addition to Microsoft Teams but in the meantime, there is a workaround for this. Since every Teams channel has a unique email address, you can setup an email in Outlook with a delayed delivery to the channels email address. It will send the email in Outlook and post the contents of the email in the channel of your choice.

    Another teacher chiming in to say this would be a great feature so I can prepare messages to go out to my students.

    I need this ability too!

    I run the Tech Support channel on our Team. I finish and post many great how-to resources at the end of the day and half the people ignore them. If I scheduled those posts to go live at 6am, more people will see them and NOT call me with questions on the very things I JUST posted lol. Please Please Please;

    I want to be able to schedule when posts go live for students.
    It takes a bit of planning to make sure directions are clear, and files are uploaded, videos are linked... etc. This feature would take take the pressure off, and make materials available when I want them to be.

    Would love this feature as I would like to share information with my team and not worry about disturbing them at late hours
