Schedule message to send at a later time
Often some member of our team finds themselves with a good idea or an interesting article that they want to post on MS Teams while it is fresh in their mind... at 6:00AM on a Saturday. This tends to wake people up if they keep Teams on their phone and don't have it on silent. It would be very nice to have the option to be considerate to those still in slumber and schedule a Teams message to go out at a later time. Many SMS messaging apps have this feature these days.

Most of our leadership team have on-call rotations where they need to keep all notifications on across all lines of communication for 24-48 hours at a time. As someone who frequently throws a few hours of work in late in the evening or on weekends, this feature would really help ensure I get them the information they need without risking interrupting their sleep/down-time, and without having to fuss with saving drafts and setting reminders.

This would be game changing for me, I currently log notes to myself for things that I need to send onto others at a more convenient time (i.e. during normal working hours!), being able to schedule messages would save me so much time and also of course remove the chance of me forgetting to do it later!

I would use this feature often. Very helpful. I hoped the features existed, I Google and landed on this page. Please prioritize adding this useful feature.

This would make it so much easier to be crazily productive with Teams. My team's culture is very considerate of "off hours" and I'd love the ability to send an idea when I think of it (even if it's at 1am), without creating the impression that I want or need a response right away.
Having it not be delivered at all until the next morning is great, because frankly I don't like the optics of people seeing messages from me at odd hours. Even people who know I don't expect a quick response might not be able to resist the temptation.
This would allow me to practice my own bad "1am" habits while protecting my team from theirs. :)

As a manager I would absolutely love to have the ability to set up messages for my team members that notify them on Monday morning. I am often reviewing features and code on the weekend and I don't want them to panic by receiving message from me at that time but I also don't want to forget to mention to them something I thought of.

This would be a great addition to teams, for the reason described in the op. Quite often i want to message me team but dont want it to alert anyone that has it on phones (Or even laptop) as i only want people to review within their working hours (Or close to) i do not want to encourage antisocial working hours.

This is an incredible feature that many other platforms already provide. Please provide this convenience to Microsoft Teams users, seeing that so many people also agree this would be a very helpful and frequently utilized.

Microsoft could solve this by modifying the urgency of messages. In addition to Standard, Important, and Urgent, they could add a Delayed option.
