Schedule message to send at a later time
Often some member of our team finds themselves with a good idea or an interesting article that they want to post on MS Teams while it is fresh in their mind... at 6:00AM on a Saturday. This tends to wake people up if they keep Teams on their phone and don't have it on silent. It would be very nice to have the option to be considerate to those still in slumber and schedule a Teams message to go out at a later time. Many SMS messaging apps have this feature these days.

This would be great. Please add this feature.

I don't know if this is mentioned in another comment, but the ability to schedule a Teams message to be delivered upon Status change would be great.

This is needed in a school environment too - to avoid bombarding students or staff with messages outside of core operating house. The solution by using Outlook and a delayed message is far from optimal.

Come on, this is a must for expectationhandling in organisations!! Have to be ok to work in evening and not disturb other employees!

Our organization made to switch to Teams & everyone was on board until some members started getting chats at 4 am or on the weekend.
The excitement of real-time communication quickly waned, nobody wanted to be "that guy".
Schedule a delivery, send later, delay delivery, whatever you want to call it, we need it in Teams.

Definitely need this feature! I work across multiple time zones and often respond to chats at off hours. Would love to schedule my message to not alert them until the beginning of business hours.

In educational settings, I often need to send reminders for a certain time (e.g. when a deadline is coming up). If I cannot schedule them, I need to remember them myself. If I send them immediately, they are absolutely pointless. I could send a delayed e-mail to the channel, but this is really a workaround and it relies on my Outlook being turned on (what if I am away myself and that's why I want a scheduled reminder).

Please. I work with people across the world, don't want to wake them up for a non-emergency so I'd like to be able to deliver them a message when they get in.

If you really want to compete in the educational sector you need to push this forward sooner rather than later.

Not only SMS, but Outlook has the ability to delay delivery in Message options.
I'd like to see this, in both channels and in peer-to peer (both 1:1 and group) chats. Also, to get a better picture of the obvious interest, maybe this 998-vote topic topic should be combined with the similar 408-vote request at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18874141-time-delay-post

I'm really disappointed that this vital update was not added since March. This is so important for planning in education.

Yes, this's really important for me. I and other team members are working across time zones so I don't want to annoy them at their midnight.
