Have an on screen timer for a meeting.
While the meeting is being held, the timer shows the time left during the meeting.
Time management tool integrated in the meetings on MS Teams.

This will be so useful. Especially in daily standups where you can assign visibly 5 min slots for updates. Will make everyone a lot more efficient in our meetings.

Is there any update on this feature? It is much needed to optimize time spent on meetings.
Eg. to be able to connect a time management & notification function (with a visible timer) to an agenda with defined time slots.

A timer that the presenter could show to the whole team. Could be the rest of the time for the whole meeting or a custom timer like showing a custom timespan. For example a 5 minutes timer that shows the remaining time until some other not presenting person of the meeting has to introduce some topic to the group.

Hi - I raised a similar request internally with my organisation, and have been advised to visit this UV, which I wasn't aware of and which I think is very helpful. Could the team provide an update since the last statement dating from half a year ago? It appears that many people are keen to see a solution being rolled out.
My personal preference being a watch emoji being shown to the presenter or the person that is presenting but not sharing their screen?
Permit the timer to be set by the presenter and allow it to be reset and started again within the same meeting, such as a break timer or an independent activity timer.

I like the idea of a clock that counts down time left in meeting.
It would be nice if this could be customizable. I would love to use it for agenda timings and reports outs. It would be great if the you could set up alerts that pop up and say time left for agenda items. This way we don't have to interrupt presenters with verbal time checks.
A countdown timer option (to show time left for e.g. presenters) would be appreciated !

I would like to have clock showing the time and the meeting name with some sound before the meeting starts.
By this the attendants can check that their equipment works correctly and they do not miss anything in the beginning by reconnections.
This could also be a count down timer set for a specific time, which can be chosen. Usually this is not the best, since a start can be delayed by a minute without being delayed (ie. 9:00:00 to 9:00:59)
This would be a much appreciated feature
I need to be alarmed 20 minutes before the end of the meeting for all attendee,
because my schedule is like this.
9am- Meeting start
Discussion *It tends to be longer..
9:40- Start meeting closing (Drop into action items) <--Need notice!
9:50- Break time or Buffer
10am- Another meeting start
