Have an on screen timer for a meeting.
While the meeting is being held, the timer shows the time left during the meeting.
Time management tool integrated in the meetings on MS Teams.
Thank you for your feedback. The team is currently exploring options for this. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
highly needed ... a timer to set individualy by the organizer for breaks and presentation time!!
I just created a chronometer with PowerApps and took me just a few minutes. Then you can add a tab or import the app from Personal Applications on Teams.
Great for class facilitation as well.
Yes, this is very needed. There are too many meetings that are going over due to long-winded participants and presenters that cannot control their time. I was hoping that it already existed since it seems to be a pretty basic function. Hurry up, Microsoft!

Could be expanded by "time-boxing" the discussion, a technique used by Agile coaches. The meeting organizer would specify the agenda and the time to be spent on each. Meeting attendees could instantly see where they are and where they should be on the agenda. Some color-coding to indicate status, e.g. go to yellow if less than 5 mins left on a particular item, red if running over time etc.

Also a down timer for Meeting breaks
This would be great - I'd like to set a timer for a 5 minute breakout that I can include in the teams chat
Daleeeeee Microsoft!!!!! danos el relojito para los pibes!!!
Come oooonnnn Microsoft!!!! give us the little timer to the squad!!!!!
Individual timer per speaker would be excellent. We are heavy Teams users and hold our daily standups and demo sessions solely on Teams. But folks are always going over their allotted times.
We need this so badly when we have presentations from multiple participants in turn on a call.
- Ideally there would be an option to reset the timer whenever a new participant starts presenting. This helps them make sure they finish presenting within their allotted time.
- Ideally this is designed as a "pass the microphone" where the moment you get the mic your timer starts ticking and you get big flashing text to indicate you're almost out of your allotted time.

Yes, having an individual airtime feature is a very good add on. Often we tend to lag in our daily's because some folks keep talking forever
We need individual timers. To control air time, otherwise some people will talk forever. This should come linked with the ability for the host to mute everyone and only open and close for each person during their specific air time!
I was thinking about this feature. when some of the executives tends to digress and drag meeting way beyond schedule and it is getting more apparent during COVID remote work

I just had this idea and I guess we need more uservoice for this feature to be implemented. If Microsoft implement this feature in the Teams meeting, wouldn't it be nice if it pinned in the corner so that people can still share their screen and see other faces? Maybe at the end it gives the team score on how they did in managing time for ending the meeting on time.
Time for the overall meeting would be great, but also timers for individual speakers which would give them a green/yellow/red warning as the time runs out. The meeting organizer could handle this in the participants pane adding/removing timers.
with a reset button to time conferee response time
Really need this. When can we get this feature?

It really would help in our daily meetings.
Given the current lockdown situation time management in meetings becomes even more critical. Being able to give presenters a certain amount of time with a visualisation on the screen how long the current slot is taking, would be a great benefit.
