Show more than 4 active people in video calls
Teams is limited to showing 4 video streams at a time, it would be better if we had some control over that. We do a morning standup every morning with 8 remotes, it would be great if we could see them at all times.
Work is in progress to support more than four active people in video calls. We will keep you posted.
Please work faster... Alex ! :-)
Yes, this needs to be a very high priority, as the competitors easily show all participants (Zoom, for example). Has this been slated for an upcoming release yet?
eta on this?

Agree would like to be able to view more than 4 videos or define which videos I want participants to see.
Please work to allow more than 4 people on a call. We have multiple locations with multiple teams and not to have this available is difficult.
Agree! We need to see more than 4 people on a Skype call!
We typically conference between 5 to 6 locations at once. Skype for Business showed all participants just fine. I don't understand why Microsoft decided to limit to 4 was a good idea since they forced us to use Teams instead of Skype on Office 365 now. Not happy.

Please update on status, this is actually really important for teams users. Thanks for taking care of this one and take customer feedback seriously 😃👍
When will this feature be ready?
For multiple people in a call, it is also helpful to be able to chose if you want just one of the video screens to dominate. For example, someone may be showing a prototype or may be pointing to a status board.
Sometimes you want to see everyone. Sometimes you just want to see one.
Agreed! Our company employs a fully remote workforce. This is a real issue for us as we have regular meetings with more than 4 people and the employees being all remote, it is critical to be able to see everyone.

Zoom, GotoMeeting, Lifesize, Vidyo, Workplace, Highfive, LiveStorm, ClickMeeting, RingCentral, Sampage, etc.
Most O365 users with All these web conferencing services are waiting for this feature to be added.
I'm certain that MS has done their market researching but we are all willing to pay little extra more to have this features added.
Keep up with this update!
This should be a top priority for Microsoft. More than four on a screen is essential for a productive and truly interactive videoconferencing experience. Please push this out ASAP!

With a large remote workforce, most video calls at my company include more than 4 participants. It is very difficult to tell when all attendees are present. Only being able to view 4 people makes meetings far less inclusive and interactive.

I agree with the comment below - moving away from Zoom to Teams for video calls has been difficult on account of the limits in viewing everyone. A large portion of our organization is remote, so this function is critical.
I've been trying to help move our organization away from Zoom and into Teams, but this is a real issue for departments/teams that have regular meetings and want to be able to see everyone (5-10) that are remote .

Another request, 4 is a too small a limit.
Who only has a team of four? Most department teams are 5-10 people for small to midsized companies. Please, extend the users to a more applicable amount. Other platforms are going to make you obsolete if you can't evolve.

Agreed, we use Zoom for this very reason even though we have a 365 subscription. Enhance this feature!
