I have different channel members under one team. I need to communicate with each channel separate from the entire team. When will that be made possible? Tomorrow would be great!

The idea that every Team member is a member of every channel is a fundamental flaw in the design of MS Teams.
This is clear when you schedule a meeting and invite the Channel. What is a channel? It's a topic of conversation for the WHOLE TEAM. In so many instances we create a channel because we want to focus on a topic, but make that conversation visible to the whole team. Nothing wrong with that, but where it falls down is that the only way to focus on a channel right now is to set notifications that you're interested in the topic.
What is really needed is the ability to have a list of channel members. This is NOT the same as a Private Team. The channel is still visible and transparent, but there is a known list of channel members who can be:
- Automatically informed when a Channel is mentioned (Others in the team can request notifications - channel members always get them)
- Assigned as members by the Team Owner, add themselves (if permission is set to allow this) or can request to be added by the Owner.
- Added as Guests to the Channel, but not to the Team as a whole. This is essential for Project Teams that use external consultants, for example.
- Added to a specific channel as members from other areas of the business to specific channels (e.g. management, specialists) who have no interest in the team other than to view progress, review content, offer advice in a specific channel topic, etc. -

Agreed. Would be beneficial to have the ability to manage the members added to a Team to not have access to the General channel that is initially created when the team is created. There should be the ability to manage who can access what channel.

Looks like this will be covered here... https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16911079-support-for-private-channels

Agree with all the comments thus far. It would also allow us to integrate outside companies and customers into a specific team channel without having to give them access to every channel under the team.

We really need this feature. We have approx 2.000 persons, that will get access to multiple channels/teams - and this feature will help us a great deal managing the structure of teams.

It would be interesting to limit the channels of each team according to the assigned members.
