DO NOT DISTURB- DOESN'T WORK
Make the "Do Not Disturb" actually not disturb! I hate that I still receive notifications on my PC as well as on my phone when in DND. It doesn't even send a message to people that this person is unavailable so they can't send you a message.

Do not disturb doesn't work as we would all expect it to. Instead DND is actually just "do not send pop-up notifications but I will still put flashing icons in your application bar with distracting 1 signs..."

It used to work. I don't know for sure when it stopped working, or I could link it to a specific update. If I don't want to be disturbed, I have to log completely out of Teams on my computer and phone. Since my entire office teleworks, this provides poor visibility of my status to my management. It needs to be fixed.

fix this! when i go on Do Not Disturb, that is exactly what I want. Just as Skype for Business was - no one could message me, i did get the flashing notification that someone messaged me.
If there are settings to get notifications from priority people while on DND why do i get a flashing light on my task bar with a number from EVERYONE?? I don't want to be bothered, I have specific things that must be done by a deadline and being distracted by this, and allowing the messages or phone calls to pop up defeats the purpose of this feature.

Seriously. Do Not Disturb means exactly that. I shouldn't see a flashing "1" in my taskbar when someone messages me if I have DND on.

Yep, we need this. I just sent a message to a person in DND and did not realize it until after I sent the message. I imagine if you are presenting, this should be automatic.

I also expect that using Do not disturb actually blocks people from calling or sending me messages. Please make it BLOCK messages (and not just change the icon if it does not really do anything).

I will have to say that Microsoft really needs to do something about Team's "Do Not Disturb" feature.
Flag each Comment, Post, Call, whatever and show them to me after I remove "Do Not Disturb".
If I setup a list of who "can" disturb me, only those people should be able to reach me. I shouldn't be getting notifications for messages from people that I do NOT want disturbing me. That's the whole point here right?
Hide those notifications. Send the calls to Voicemail. DO NOT DISTURB
It's right there in the name, "Do Not Disturb" 🤷♂️

I would like to have a setting in Teams where if I am on a Teams call that all other Teams calls are blocked with a notification to the caller that I am unavailable. All my Teams calls are on my calendar but that little red dot on my profile photo is not visible enough to anyone pause before calling. It is most annoying and distracting to be on a Teams call and have another Teams call ring in.

We are a small team with most of us working part-time and it is very frustrating that this isn't working and hasn't been fixed yet (the comments go back to April 2018 and it is very disappointing that such a basic issue hasn't been fixed yet).

DND not working for for me on laptop. It used to work in the past but not anymore. It's really annoying having to log out of Skype on laptop and phone to stop calls coming through in order to work uninterrupted. Please, please fix this. No point having the option if it doesn't work.

My status do not update properly. Once my PC is turned off, the status shows me as available as well as once I set up automatic replies and turn off PC my status is still online without showing automatic replies information. Please take care of it as it is very important.

With "Do Not Disturb" turned on using the Desktop version of Teams, it still flashes at me in the tray when a message comes in both from an individual chat and a team chat. This should be disabled except when the user is in my priority list (which is empty).

While I am working and on the phone I would love it that people, employee and coworkers can see this or get a notification I am buy or occupied shall we say. They could get busy signal or prompt telling them that I am busy and phone or email does doesn't go through with that message.

Agreed. This is both asinine and infuriating! I am a work-at-home entrepreneur. I have 3 instances of Skype running at any time, for different contracts I run. When I have meetings I literally have to shut my Skype(s) down and kill the process thru task manager, and restart once done!
DND (aka "do not disturb") worked beautifully for YEARS. Now? Freaking JOKE! It does NOT work across MULTIPLE devices! An absolute pathetic fail... we get that glitches happen! But to have THIS many complaints for THIS long??
For 1.5 years DND has not worked on my PC or laptop, on ALL 3 accounts! This is true for the web version, it is true for the app version... it does stop the "alerts" for messages, but NOT CALLS.
I can be in a Zoom meeting, which you have to often turn volume way up to hear people. Suddenly, a Skype call (or 2 or 3 or 4++)... and it about blows out your eardrums and makes you jump out of your skin!
I despise Microsoft and its developers for this lack of care, absolutely idiotic that this is still an issue when I pay for calling cards, phone #'s, "world" subscriptions for multiple acounts!
