Break out rooms for teams calls.
To be able to use teams to conduct training webinars, would want to be able to have delegates breakout of main video call into seprate channels to have smaller group chats and come back into main room. Without having to drop in and out of calls.

This seems like the same request as https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35000044-introduce-breakout-room-functionality which has more votes.

Hello Team,
Please add Breakout meeting room feature in Microsoft Teams. This is a highly requested feature among our users.
Any update on this would be much appreciated.

Adding to the user voices here! This would be a great and highly utilized feature at our firm. Kindly consider accomplishing this feature via web as well in addition to the app/ desktop client. Zoom is otherwise our tool of choice here. Thank you!

Voting on behalf of Lancaster University - 12000 students, about 20% of whihc could use this feature. We too are buying Zoom for this purpose and would prefer to use teams.

Ended up here for the same reason as Ian below - company is switching to Zoom because of the break-out room functionality. Come on Microsoft, you need to keep agile if you want to drive Teams adoption :-) Is it on the radar??

Our company is still using Adobe Connect and Zoom for break-out rooms. The same feature in Teams would be great.

Yes! We are new to O365 and have been conducting training sessions using virtual break out rooms for years! We currently use Adobe Connects but would love to have this integrated with TEAMS!

This ability to breakout into separate but connected sessions is key to virtual Seminars and Training. WebEx, Zoom and Adobe have provided this for some time. When is it expected in MS Teams?

We are just evaluating Cisco vs Teams - it is the only feature (apart of pools, native whiteboard and other features they have not yet [or at all] migrated from Skype for Business) that prevents us from embracing it fully.

Please, please have this feature. So that when we need to group people during mentoring or coaching this will lessen the time to create another meeting invite
