Change the colour of Teams, the default purple is deterring everyone from even trying it, and refusing to move from Slack
Basically anything but purple or variant of it
Personally i like green, but variant of blue will also do
Thank you for your feedback. The feature team is reviewing this ask. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
Definitely nauseating. The high contrast is the only option without the purple but that doesn't provide the same colorized status notifications and active status changes. It is not actually contrasting at all, other than being black and yellow, much like my AOL online window back in the windows 93 days...c'mon guys it's the friggin future. If we can't have flying cars, at least allow us to change the color scheme for a corporate communication platform so our eagle eyed supervisor doesn't get nosy because he knows exactly which window is your messaging service. Dear lord.

Today our organization is split between MS Teams and Slack. As an organization we use teams for voice calls and meetings. Our technical teams prefer slack and when I speak to them about moving to teams one of the biggest complaints is the color scheme limitations in teams. In slack they have a a number of customizations they can configure to make things easier to read when you have very large threads or channels with lots of messages that allow you to scan over many messages.
Color is just one of the many changes required to make this application easier for users to transition from slack to teams.

Purple is horrible on light or dark theme. I vote for option to customize color for MS Teams, and specifically calendar.

we need to be able to change theme and color ,We also want option of adding outlook experience in teama
i request more customized themes in high contrast mode. I have a Eye challenge and i had to use high contrast but the current available three themes are not at all good and also hurting my eye condition. Many people are complaining the same. kindly implement that feature ASAP. Thanks a million

An option to use the system notifications style. For win 10, it would be nice as it will match the system config for color. I know win 10 notifications can also have reply boxes to replicate the teams notification reply function.
teams needs serious UI job, its not very clean has too much white space ( purple space ) and i am allergic to Purple.
Microsoft, are you doing anything about this?
There are themes....
White with purple
Grey with Purple
AND SUPER HIGH CONTRAST-WITH PURPLE
I am sensing a theme to the themes...
I want the option to change the colors

find the teams icon in the start list, open microsoft corporation group. right click on the teams icon.
click on cog settings, select default theme... Bye Bye Ugly Purple theme which was causing me massive migraines.
!!!!! does anyone know the way to change the teams purple **** into something else?
None of my Executive team likes the purple and wants it to change asap!
We all hate purple, it's an unpleasant color to use constantly and this is supposed to be used all day. I would be quite happy with blue/white, similar to Skype for Business

PLEASE give us the OPTION to change the color at a minimum. I feel like its Easter time every day using Teams.

I agree, simple color customization would be amazing. Though, my guess is that it has ties to their overall design guidelines and won't be something you see change anytime soon.
Purple is unprofessional

Everyone at our company has the same feeling. We keep trying to be sold that Teams is a better solution than Slack, but no one can get past the purple color of the app.
It would be great if one could customize the colors and font as they wish.
Or at least have a theme library with more than 2 color choices.
It definitely doesn't respect the guidelines in terms of the colour scheme of the user's preferences.
