Chat connector for Cisco Jabber
Have a connector for Cisco Jabber so when a chat is created in teams this will be sent to Cisco jabber as well as teams chat.
This is a very nice one and gives in-depth information. I am really happy with the quality and presentation of the article. I’d really like to appreciate the efforts you get with writing this post. Thanks for sharing.
CCNA course in Pune
We are enrolling Teams in a large company. Many of our units still use Jabber as a chat client.
It will take a couple of months to have all the units migrated from Jabber.
A chat-connector would be very useful to us as a bridge technology.
Our users would be able to work in one place.
lol.. cisco jabber for Teams... Click call with Jabber in Teams... Force jabber to popup and make the call.. I don't think this is what we had in mind....

I sell software to thousands of customers. Many of who use Cisco Jabber. I need to integrate my instance of MS Teams with chat and conferencing to and from Jabber.

This appears to be a step in the right direction - https://help.webex.com/en-us/aetgvg/Cisco-Jabber-for-Microsoft-Teams
Does MS has any intention to implement this?
I'd love to know that Microsoft listens to customers even if they are not going to do it.

Another year has passed. Does MS has any intention to implement this?
3rd party integration is not a solution for my organisation (mostly concerned about security and GDPR).
Bump. Looking for this functionality across the Innerwebs. Several folks claim to connect, such as https://m.io/ and https://tray.io/connectors/cisco-jabber-microsoft-office-365-integrations for example. All want a bit of funds, understandably.
So it is DOABLE
all communication system connector will great but may need lot of invest on security....
As much as enogh security investment and proof of safe/secure data use, I agree with connector avaialble on creoss client / system.
