Why is the "info pane is disabled by policies" when trying to get a meeting's dial in number?
When trying to get a phone number for a meeting, I found an article that says click on the info pane to get the number. When hovering over the info pane, I get the message, "Info pane is disabled by policies".
I am assuming a Group Policy. Which one and why?
Is Skype for Business required for this feature?
My Microsoft Team does not permit me to blur the background as it says info pane is disabled - is there any way to update this item in Teams?
Is this appearing only for users disabled for Dial out in Teams meeting?
It is odd that some see it shadowed out and others don't even see it at all from the accounts I have tested.

We have experienced this issue with only two people in our org. No special policies have been set and even their future meetings have this issue.
This might be the best workaround ... as my previous colleague told.
I also raised a request with Microsoft and they told me:
2 weeks ago we got the update that the option is no longer available.
I apologize to you that we cannot change the option. It is microsoft policy.
Is there anybody who still have the option? Would be great to have it enabled again ...
Where did you say participant icon is to click and copy meeting details
I found an alternate way to get the meeting details.
1. Click on the participant icon in the meeting (next to chat).
2. It opens people window on the right. Click on the link icon to copy the meeting details to your clipboard. You can paste it anywhere to get the details.

Any help much appreciated.

I see this too.
At my organization, we see the Info pane most of the time, except for meeting series where the Conference ID is completely broken. In these cases the info pane icon is grayed out, and we see the "Info pane is disabled by policies" message. For us, we have seen this but only when there is an issue with the conference info-- something broke on the Microsoft side where we cannot connect to the conference ID. It had nothing to do with policies as we've set things up correctly and they work most of the time. For this specific 'broken conference ID' issue, the only resolution is to cancel the Teams meeting and generate a brand new one.
anyone figure out why?

We are seeing this icon, too. What is the purpose of "Info pane is disabled by policies"?
