How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

managing chat members

I am not able to remove previously added chat-members. a workarround would be starting a new chat with the other members but then i will loose the chat-history. any other Ideas ?

    It is necessary to temporarily add and remove individuals in a conversation. There may be a troubleshooting session or a technical discussion that requires the input of someone outside the initial chat group. The history of the conversation is pertinent so they should be added but there needs to be a way to remove them as well.

    Used chats also for 'daily scrum'... but as members are changing, it was not very suitable. Then we switched to the team and used the instant meeting, but this is not as confortable because I have to invite everyone separately every time...
    So I also would like to create a chat-type that allowes to remove members (or a similar chat functionality in the team view).

    Having to create a new chat every time a member leaves is very inefficient.

    My company does not allow me to create Teams (they're created centrally) so this functionality in chat would be great. In fact, allow anyone in the chat to add or remove a person if you want to keep the concept of no one person having ownership of a chat.

    I agree the person who started the chat should have ownership rights on who to add / delete from the chat. We deal with multiple additions of regions. not able to add more than 19 people into a chat is hard. If we can expedite more that 19 people in a chat then this would be another great work around but hard once someone has left the company.

    When a member of a Chat leaves the company, their email notifications of chat is automatically being forwarded to a new person, who is not part of the same process. It would be helpful to be able to remove the original person from the Chat
