Change keyboard shortcut
We need functionality to customize keyboard shortcuts to resolve following problem.
Many of keyboard shortcuts are not giving same user experience like other MS apps, and we would like to customize them.
For example, our developer heavily use VSCode, and we are expecting Command + P will open search, and Command + Shift + } will switch to next channel.

It is a hight time...we need personalised keyboard shortcuts

I would also like the ability to use a single key to mute/unmute, for example the play/pause key.
Ctrl + Shift + C as an alternative to copy is common in some terminals. Having this start calls with no confirmation had led me to waste my colleagues time in multiple occasions
This is a really important idea to make users able to customize their experience and simplify these short cuts. three key combos can get hard to remember
Zoom's keyboard shortcuts are great ...
ALT+M, ALT+V ...
Just so simple
they have to do something about it. Its really a high time now. I have a habit of pressing Ctrl+Shift+C/V to copy paste in simple format and I always end up calling the group chat or person accidentally. very annoying to me and others both

I'm for it too! Some shortcuts in Teams are overlapping with my other apps and this is annoying (e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio ctrl+shift+space).
Please give me a choice to change shortcuts like it is in other apps.

High time this should be prioritized, doesn't look like it should be a big effort.
To minimize the effort, just have a text or json file, that the user can edit/customize and the Team app can parse/read.

PLEASE ADD THIS! I have trouble using Teams as a power user :(

@Kristopher Fieler I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! Whoever chose these keyboard shortcuts obviously was NOT a software developer, which kinda meshes with the whole usability (or rather, lack thereof) of Teams as a whole.
Please sort out line return so it is Alt + Enter like in Excel and not ****+Enter
A keyboard shortcut for code snippets is much needed.
Customizing keyboard shortcuts is such a basic need for any user familiar with the tool, let alone for power users and all of us that are having to use Teams during this lockdown. This seems like a standard option on other major collaboration products -- please prioritize accordingly.

We use Teams for a department chat, and we have to paste in badly formatted lines from code and a helpdesk ticketing system. I use ctrl+shift+v a lot, and half the time manage to accidentally start a group phone call with every person in the department because of the call hotkey
Additionally, I would appreciate an option to disable all Teams shortcuts during a session. When presenting/teaching a special software, shortcuts of Teams interfere with shortcuts of the other software.
very frustrating that the keys aren't customizable!
I'm an Embedded systems developer over Linux and we use the ctrl+shift+c shortcut many times for coping in places where ctrl+c would send a signal that terminates the process instead.
then mistakenly used that on the team only to wake up all teammates at 7:30am when all I wanted is to paste some bug results from the night run.
very disappointing Microsoft that the shortcut keys cannot be edited - but unfortunately not surprising

The control-shift-C hotkey is a form of age discrimination.
When an older guy like me wants to paste without formatting (control-shift-V), and the fingers are a little arthritic, the index finger only makes it to the "C". Now you've started a call with however many dozens of people are on the chat, and you've got them all asking what you were calling about. We need to be able to disable that hotkey, and it also wouldn't be a bad idea to give you a second or two to cancel an accidentally-placed call without the call actually going out.
In Skype, one can mute/unmute by pressing "windows+F4" with/without a focus on the application interface. But, in Teams, this cannot be done since the default is "Ctrl+Shift+M".
How can this be done?
Enter or Spacebar would be an easier mute/unmute

I have a legally blind user who would like to change the keyboard shortcuts to not conflict with his existing ones. Also, some functions are missing in the existing shortcuts such as moving between Teams.
