Allow direct file attachment to Planner Tasks in TEAMS
Provide ability to attach a document to a Planner Task from your Desktop (like you can do in a SP task). Today, you have to upload the document into Teams first, then open your Planner Task and then attach by referencing the previously uploaded document.

Please add this feature, very surprising this is not an option to browse to a document to upload?

I'm sure that there must be reasons that have to do with software programming for having different options on the Desktop version of Planner vs. the Web version and mobile app version, but from a user perspective this makes no sense at all and creates confusion. Also, from a workflow perspective, the ability to drag and drop and email, document, photo or whatever is an elegant solution as a user trying to efficiently get things done. Thank you.

Please add this feature.
Additionally, the uploaded file should automatically be stored in the subfolder of the respective channel (not, as today with the Planner web interface), in the site's document root Folder.

This is really confusing for users today to have different experience, especially because we will move soon our 110 000 users organisation to Teams (In september 2019). If you can quickly add this feature it will help us a lot.

It is really silly that this isn't a feature in Planner in TEAMS when it's in Planner on the web, and as someone else has suggested, can be used on Planner in TEAMS if you add it as a web link?
Once again, this demonstrates to me that BASIC features from O365 are missing and BASIC QA is not taking place. Why bother have integrated apps when you have to jump through numerous hoops to do something that only seems to work in a browser?
Multiple files would also be a good thing.

Yes, that'd be great. Also to have multiple files.

I figure that out only online planner has the File option, not the app, if this option also available on the app that would be great.

I just ran across this issue. The ability to add a file is available on the browser version of Planner is possible, yet it's not possible using the Planner plugin in Teams. Though you can get the full web version to load in Teams by adding it as a website link. This feels like a bug more than anything that you can't include files this way.
