Allow direct file attachment to Planner Tasks in TEAMS
Provide ability to attach a document to a Planner Task from your Desktop (like you can do in a SP task). Today, you have to upload the document into Teams first, then open your Planner Task and then attach by referencing the previously uploaded document.

Adding on here. These kind of usability hurdles kill adoption of these of tools for employees who are already wary of new things. Trello is Planner's biggest competitor and allows you to drag-and-drop attachments directly into a task. Inexcusable that Microsoft can't have feature parity on its own OS.

For an example, see this comment box, it also allows an attachment with a comment. It makes the comment useful and picture stays with the comment. This will be a very useful feature. Please add this on teams task.

Should be a basic feature. It would be really helpful.

Agreed. I have multiple users asking for this. The lack of this ability forces them to use planner directly, instead of just using Teams client.

Without the ability to add attachments easily to the task in Planner, it makes the app useless. We use Planner for software testing and attach screenshots to the task. Having to upload the screenshots to the Files area makes no sense as they would be completely irrelevant there.
I had to use the web version to use it properly. You should make all web functions available in the app.

This is a serious issue and is causing issues with our adoption of MS-Teams. Please address this!

This feature is a must have. It's very inconvenient to work like this with files for Office 365 planner tasks within Microsoft Teams.

A collaboration tool is about ease of use, sending people to Online defeats the purpose.

Yes, please add file upload capability directly from a planner task from desktop. Obvious feature gap that should be resolved.

It seems as if you have to create a folder in the General file Doc Library, but it would be great if the tool would allow a direct - Upload doc - function then the system auto-create the folder for the Task Name

Please please add this feature. Your help info says it should be there.... but it's clearly not working yet. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/attach-files-photos-or-links-to-a-task-52c688e1-aeb0-4b49-8d78-42984cd553f7

I just took my first look at using Planner and Microsoft Teams. I noticed the missing attach file option immediately. (I was trying to send a snapshot of how to get the Planner view in Microsoft Teams to share with many others considering the use of Planner.) A vary glaring missing feature. It's been over a year since this feedback was provided without official response. Not encouraging.
