Allow direct file attachment to Planner Tasks in TEAMS
Provide ability to attach a document to a Planner Task from your Desktop (like you can do in a SP task). Today, you have to upload the document into Teams first, then open your Planner Task and then attach by referencing the previously uploaded document.

Yes this is ugly!!! 10+ clicks to upload a file from your computer... Our team was contemplating switching from teamwork but until this is changed we cannot.

it is really time consuming to have to store files in an intermediate place and then upload them to teams rather than being able to drag and drop items (as we are used to)

Our workflow is specifically designed to move attachments that are in pdf through a task workflow approval process, not being able to attach files directly to makes the process not make sense. I built out to the point without having thought of this because it seems like a "core functionality" item.

I am trying to implement processes and workflows in our organization using MS teams and other MS products. When I come to blockers/bugs like this it really makes me question the viability of Teams and using it for anything other than a glorified messaging app. If the feature is available for web version, it should be available in the app.

TOTALLY agree with this. Although it is possible by using Planner via web, it should be a standard feature. Very, very annoying.

The irony is not lost on me that you can attach a file to UserVoice comments.

I don't understand this not being a function. Any word from anyone from Microsoft?

On Planner, you can only upload documents from SharePoint or add internet links. This creates extra work. Please enable Planner to upload directly from the PC or OneDrive. Thank you.

I guess this used to be available but is gone in a recent update? Some team members can still *sometimes* use this feature. I don't understand why this ever went away

Hi - I'm a newbie here, so please be kind :) Is there an 'Undo" feature anywhere for a task in a bucket that was accidentally marked as "Completed" ?
Thanks in advance....
