Please remove Wiki from Template
Remove Wiki from Template.
When I create a new Team/Channel everytime a wiki Tab is automatically created. But I don't need it.

The Wiki implementation in Teams is an abomination, not least because content created is not visible in SharePoint. It's also most definitely not a Wiki... more like a scratchpad. I've no idea why it's being forced on people, rather than leaving it as an app you install.
Agree, please add the capability to the admin console to prevent the creation of the Wiki tab. Replacing the Wiki tab with a OneNote tab is also a great suggestion.
We much preferred when teams put a default OneNote. The Wiki is a waste of time. It doesn't integrate with anything. Please make that tab optional or remove it.
agree, add my vote

Why is there a Teams Wiki anyway? Maybe if there was better documentation that would sell me on Teams Wiki... Can't search it, revision history not accessible, no real-time collaboration... Why invest resources on this wiki? Use Sharepoint Wiki or OneNote. Improve the OneNote integration.

Please remove Wiki!
Any update by Microsoft on removing Wiki from getting added to channels? The below script talks of removing the Wiki Tab from all channels in a tenant, but how about the new channels that get created almost everyday?

any update from MS around the topic? Wiki is useless ... please remove it from the template or enhance the functionality!!! - minimum requirement >> searchable!!!

The wiki is stupid and annoying. Should be tickboxes in settings that let you choose what default tabs get created for a channel. I'd much more often rather have a One Note tab than the useless Wiki tab. It holds zero value for us.
Actually, I don't even like the Wiki because the formatting options are limited.

I would like to remove this , and potentially change the default template
Please allow admins to remove/disable the wiki. We already have a wiki and don't want to have users storing information in multiple places by accident.

If not to remove 'Wiki' from the default template, allow admins to control the template for new teams and channels at the tenant level.
I agree with Christian and Gerladine. Teams "wiki" isn't.

Agree. Please remove Wiki from default. There is very limited functionality in Wiki so let users decide if they would like to add it or not
