We have too many channels within Teams, hence, following channels via follow channel option is very cumbersome. There can be a check box so that user can tick all channels to follow in one go, instead of scrolling, clicking and following channels one by one.
A Show all Channels and / or Hide all Channels button would make it so much easier for teams with lots of channels. Someone coming in new would likely want to show all of the channels in a team until they know for sure which are most relevant.
This would also help to keep activity feed focussed. Only those channels you follow could be shown there. I'm annoyed of posts in "Maybe funny" or similar channesl. I already removed those from channels list, but "interesting" posts still appear in activity feed. I'd like to check them manually if I have time, but don't be wanna be notified about every new joke. Currently "interesting" seams to b defined by the amount of posts a person creates per day.
Agreed. A suggestion would be to put in the user controls at the top right called Follow and when you click it shows all the teams you are a member and the ability to expand channels in teams with check marks to show, Follow and type of notification like Banner, feed per channel.
