limit of file + folder name is 150 character, please enable longer names and deeper folder structure

One of our users was able to upload a file to the Teams SharePoint which resulted in a total file path length of 260 characters, but we need the possibility for more characters because we have large folder structures and long file names.
According to the Microsoft documentation the limit in SharePoint Online should be 400 characters and not 260 characters.
You know what's interesting about this 150 character error/warning message is that, in my case, the warning popup is truncated, cannot be opened, and provides no valuable information, but simply fades away. What's more, the number of characters of my file names, which are PDFs, are always less than 25 characters. The error/warning message occurs on both PC and Mac. If I open my Teams destination folder in SharePoint, I can easily upload the same file (no error). Not an elegant workaround but it works (for me). Seems like a bug in Teams to me.
Is Microsoft planning on fixing this? PCs can do longer even OneDrive can do longer. Is there a date plan to fix this?

When uploading a file to the Teams Files tab, you get this error message: "The file names are limited to 150 ..."
Also the full path limitation is 260 characters. The path to the general library is https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/***/Shared%20Documents/General/, hence 120 or so characters are already used up.
Error message when creating a folder with too long path: "the full path of this file can't exceed 260 characters"
