Please extend the Teams Mobile App to work with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
I'm often on the road and my company relies heavily on online meetings :-) So, we are starting to leverage Teams meetings more and more, so when I'm in my car I need an easy way to join meetings and maybe also read messages. While this is way easier now, than it was in SfB Mobile (thanks!) it would be awesome to have an Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Extension to have a somewhat easier and "nearly hands-free" user experience. This would make me much more productive, even if I'm traveling :-)
The feature team has this on their backlog officially now. We don’t have any timing to share at this point, but we will keep you posted.

STILL waiting.... not even an update? I don’t understand how this is not THE top priority for Teams. You are putting people at risk of getting into car accidents. My company has switched to the MS Teams phone system. I’m getting calls on the road all the time now. I have an android phone and the calls do not even register on the hands free system in my car. I have to fumble for my phone to try to answer on speaker to join calls. This is insane and unacceptable on Microsoft’s part. When will this be fixed?

Almost got into a car accident yesterday trying to join a meeting in my car. Please work on this. Many Teams users will greatly appreciate this.

https://mirrorlink.com/ is a very good alternative to Android Auto for showing the UI of an app on your navigation system without completely connecting through Android Auto
I think this would be an excellent feature. Don't have any visuals showing whilst car is moving bit should be able to join a meeting and communicate.
At the moment I need to find a phone number and conference number and type these in whilst driving, much more dangerous!
It would be really great to have this now we all need to keep working but have to do so from home/cars due to the Corona virus. Any update?

My commute is around 1.5 to 2 hours one way... having teams on android auto would be amazing.

Hello Microsoft, please give us the ultimate car experience for Teams! :-)

Please get this working, so i can join meeting while on my over an hour drive into work. It would be nice to have google read messages when they come in. Android auto can do that with facebook message, so there is no reason it can't with teams.
Same problem with Android Auto, can't pick up it's terrible and unsafe when driving. Please FIX this ASAP
Looking forward to have android auto and carplay integration, it is very important to be able to take meetings when I'm driving, which is a lot of the time

I think a Teams CarPlay app with Siri integration would be awesome.
In the interim, if your meetings are “audio conference bridge” enabled, you can join your Teams meeting as an audio call in 3 clicks through CarPlay.
1. Click the calendar app
2. Click your meeting
3. Click the telephone # on screen, which has embedded the conference ID, and your phone dials out and logs you into the conf.
Again, joining through the Teams client would be much more preferred, but this is great alternative.
I've asked multiple times now and still have not gotten an answer. When will Android Auto support Teams Calling? I have a friend with an iphone and you can at least get Car Play to who who is calling on it. Android does NOTHING!! It is completely unsafe!!! What is going on? What is the timeframe?

So is there an ETA on this feature?
join a planned meeting should be feature #1. Makes live on the road easier and safer.
Can’t wait to use it!
unfortunately still no update.

I'm also in the same situation - please add the feature!

Any update on this? Really want to see this feature added.
I find it quite ridiculous that this is not at THE VERY TOP of the priority list. I have to use teams every day for work and am going to wind up getting into an accident because I can't answer the phone. When is this going to be done?
