Is it possible to either import your outlook contacts or integrate with your contacts?
It would be great when going to make calls that it could integrate with your outlook contacts. thank you,
I have found how to access the phone numbers of my Outlook contact list but what about the email addresses?
Teams is able to find Outlook contacts - indispensable!
Please implement this as soon as possible.
We have many customers who do not yet make the step to teams for this very reason
i am having to use my old paper rolodex
come on MS we need this
The O365 contacts appear in "Calls" under "Contacts"
BUT NO WHERE TO BE FOUND in Chats / Teams / Calendar !!!
For 28 months Microsoft couldn't find the time and resources to do BASIC integration !!
This is nothing but a colossal blunder on Microsoft's side....
My Outlook (MSO 365) Contacts appear to be in teams... what's going on?
we need this ability!
My contacts do not synch with teams very frustrating
just testing this but it seems to work as long as the Mailbox is Exchange Online...creating a user under "contacts" in Outlook , signing out and back in to Teams and I can see the newly created contact in Teams...the confusion goes on...
Microsoft pulled this stunt when they introduced Skype for Business...no Outlook contact access/transition. Never did install SfB.

Quite astounding that this is not available yet. Will be a big dissatisfier for our employees.

I don't get it. Teams is a MS program/app, as is Outlook. How hard can it be to use the same contact list. Big miss here MS !

I go into Teams, I click Contacts and there should be a BIG button that says Connect your TEAMS to OUTLOOK contacts... you select the contacts folder you want to sync with... and then make calls.
Microsoft please help us out here. Asking for a friend, haha.

Reluctantly I moved from Skype for Business to Teams (because I was forced to) and put up with the fact that when I used Teams to phone out, my Contacts' company names did not appear, only the Contact name (great loss of functionality from Skype). Now, my Contacts list does not appear at all in Teams, and I'm having to manually copy it from my Contacts database. Initially thinking it was my system, then my company's set up, now seeing it is a MS issue and has been for some time. MS, you're making a mockery of joined up software.
Para mi seria de gran ayuda poder realizar una video conferencia con mis contactos de outlook.

I agree with everyone before me this needs to be fixed / implemented ASAP.
Outlook contacts not synchronized with Teams? How is this even a thing in 2020? Good on you MS - maybe your programming team should consider going over to work for Gavin Belson.
"Contacts" is broken in so many ways.
"Teams" is broken in so many ways.
Contacts can be managed in multiple objects in "Office"/Outlook (personal contacts, Groups, Public Folders, GAL), and none but the first of these objects are available in TEAMS or on PHONES.
SEAMLESS, NOT!!! We use a Public Folder for our Contacts as the GAL has limited fields and is hard to maintain. In any event neither is available in Teams.
Regarding Dialing form Outlook, why the "People"(head) view does not support dialing and all other contact views do is beyond me. (Yes, you CAN dial from Outlook thru Teams in the card and other views, Right-Click => Call)
Outlook also should have a default Phone Number type called Teams (Like Business, Home, etc) where I can clearly store my users Team Phone numbers.
