Customise banner size and display time
Customise banner size and display time

Really need a way to have Teams pop up the banner every so often until responded to. People have a lot going on and if teams is going to be an adopted source of communication we need to be able to make more detailed notification settings. It would be nice to have those controlled by Admin also so they can be mandatory.
Worked for me for TEAMS.
How to increase the Windows 10 notification timeout
To change how long Windows 10 notifications appear for:
Launch the Settings app from the Start menu.
Click the “Ease of Access” category.
Choose a timeout from the “Show notifications for” dropdown menu, under “Simplify and personalise Windows.”
Applies to All Windows 10 Versions
Windows 10 displays notification banners for 5 seconds before moving them into Action Center. This might feel too quick and hurried, especially when you receive a text-heavy alert. It’s possible to change how long notifications stay on screen, giving you more time to read them before they vanish into Action Center.
As is often with the case with Windows 10, the setting for this isn’t necessarily where you’d expect it to be. There’s no reference to the option within the main “System > Notifications” settings screen. Instead, you’ll need to open the Settings app to the “Ease of Access” category – click its tile on the Settings homescreen.

You’ll now find the relevant control under the “Simplify and personalise Windows” heading. The “Show notifications for” dropdown gives you a variety of timeout options, ranging from the default of 5 seconds right up to 5 minutes.
There’s no way to enter your own value, so you’ll have to pick one of the six predefined delays.
The change will take effect immediately after you select a new value in the dropdown. Subsequent notifications will stay onscreen for the selected duration, before getting moved into Action Center for you to review later on.

This is even more of an issue with the new meeting experience as the banners cover the majority of the call control buttons. It is very frustrating to have to search for the x on the banner in order to mute or un-mute while in a call.

Banners are too big and stay displayed too long - need to be customized

Banner needs to be bigger.
Have an option for Persistent Banner so that it stays open until closed - it's too easy to miss these
I have three monitors active and I always miss the banner. I wish we could have more options for displaying the banner like size, time and location.
an option to change the banner display time (and even better use native notifications) would be great.
The banner hang time absolutely needs to be customize-able. I would prefer it stayed until I reacted to it, as I miss messages far too frequently. Others need it to go away much faster.
Please give an option in the Settings atleast - S/M/L ??
Anyone found the solution?
I have no real issues personally with the banner size, but I do with the amount of time it stays around. It feels annoyingly long, and there is no way to close it. I would prefer to be able to both close a message I've already read, and to configure the amount of time the banner remains visible.
The banners are too big -- they're huge! Would prefer if Teams used the notification banner built into MacOS when running on a Mac rather than their own banners.
