Feature: Add ability to adjust call audio volume
In Skype I could adjust the volume on the application level. This isn't possible in teams

My "teams" is too quiet. I turn my master volume up full and still have trouble hearing (my skype is plenty loud though). When I click on ellipsis ... I don't see "show device settings" just a bunch of app's.
Working from home now have to put my head on my laptop and listen, my camera just shows the top of my head.
Click on the three dots in Teams meeting and select Show Device Settings. Under the Speaker section, lower the volume. I had to lower mine all the way to bottom for the sound to be bearable. It is strange that adjusting system sounds makes no difference in Teams. Hopefully Microsoft can fix this quickly given the fact that millions of people are working from home these days using Teams.
when call made others can see but can not hear me as it has the mic muted and will not let me un mute of change it. if go it to settings it show microphone none. when you are on call if you try to un mute cant . message comes up No microphone we didn't find any mic on your pc connect a mic . also no microphone has been found among your devices .but it works fine when i used Skype . can you help fix this issue.

This is a TOP must have. Many time, the sound is considered very low on Teams calls. I complain about the other people sound level (too low). They also complain about the same.

On an iPad, I can use the volume buttons to raise and lower the volume, but I can't turn the volume all the way down. I'd like to be able to turn the volume all the way down.

Why doesn't the Windows global volume setting affect Teams? It is ridiculous, this app should not be a special snowflake.

Changing the audio device volume does nothing -- even if I put it at 1% (and I can't even hear system sounds on that device anymore), teams is blasting in my ears... why would you do this!?

TEAMS constantly increases microphone volume and causes a lot of noise. Interlocutors complains about it. I can’t refuse the TEAMS because it is used at work in my company. Therefore, I had to install a script (based on nircmd utility) that restores the mic volume level every half-second.
Adjusting device settings seems to adjust the volume for the whole system. We need the option to just reduce the volume for Teams specifically.
Until this is added. Right click on the speaker in the task bar and select, "Open Sound Settings". Scroll down to the bottom and click on the "App volume and device preferences" under Other Sound Options.
In this new pane find the volume sliders for skype and teams and turn them down.
Agree, I have done the "More Actions (triple dots) > Show device settings > Speaker" and put the volume to 1, but still the volume is waaay too high.
In Skype I can adjust the Skype-volume independently but Teams only allows me to change the master volume (which is set to 1, as said). And since the output volume from the Teams-app is super high it doesnt work.

Fix this now. With the constant increase in input volume for my microphone is making conference calls impossible, as we all blow out each other's ears because the application FORCES me to set my volume to 100%. Amateur hour.
Teams Meetings are way too loud. There is no way to adjust volume. I have tried using the ellipsis or suspension point (three dots) and I don't even have the option of "Show device settings". There is no way to adjust the volume. I adjusted the volume via Speakers/Headphones (Realtek Audio) which does not adjust it, Headset Earphone (JABRA PRO 9470) which does not adjust it, and also right on the touchscreen of the JABRA headset dock itself. None of these options adjust volume while in a MS Teams call (meeting with audio). The volume is up to the max, it seems, and there are so many people who already speak very loudly, I have to move the headset off my ear. This should not have to be done, to just adjust the volume/not have it blast in your ear(s)!!
How did this past testing at MS??
When in a call:
More Actions (triple dots) > Show device settings > Speaker
I have the same problem too. If i use my galaxy buds in MS teams even if i set the audio from the laptop to 0 and form teams itself to the minimum it is still high. I think that you should start to fix this sicne it is a basci not working feature
We need a way to disable the automatic microphone gain control. Clients can constantly hear everyone in the office while i'm not actively speaking. At least give a slider for how aggressive the AGC is.
Still a problem. Windows Mixer volume at 1. Teams blasting my eardrums...
Having to use Teams every freaking Monday for a recurring meaning is a APPAULING. WHY? Because I can't adjust the volume whatsoever. Not surprising that other people complain about the same thing.
These are the reasons why I hate Microsoft so much. Because they are ******* backward, out of touch with their customers and 100% bent on not doing anything that makes sense.

Please add the option to disable automatic gain control in Teams.
