Feature: Add ability to adjust call audio volume
In Skype I could adjust the volume on the application level. This isn't possible in teams

Worst app by microsoft, worst design, other apps are far better. The designers don't even have a simple thought to add basic volume control. Even after requesting by so many user.
Isn't volume control a basic feature of communications tools?
The control should be in your face?
How has this been allowed and not solved for so long??
$400 on 6th pair of certified headphones this past weekend - volume adjusts to 100% whenever I begin or join a meeting.
Certified BT receiver doesn't fix the problem.
Thanks for making my 55 hr weeks as a healthcare professional that much more stressful, MS!

Another vote for this to be looked at!
Can you guys please fix this ****? This would never be released in the apple world.
Bluetooth ear buds volume is at max with no way to change the volume in any system setting.
The earbuds work in Windows and therefore should work in Teams. Hard to believe the Teams Technology Stack does not have access to fundamental OS sound hardware interfaces, what with it being communication software that relies heavily on sound recording and playback. Without this it should never have left Beta testing. Almost looks like this is intentional with the idea of having a closed eco system requiring the purchase of Teams compatible devices, an unfortunate Apple model of gouging customers, but on a software application level. Different hardware for different apps anyone?
On another note, is this a "real" Microsoft project? I had to sign up or use a Google/Facebook account to login - why no option for my Microsoft account?
PS: For the down vote 2 posts prior: Please tell me by due diligence you dont mean "works with Microsoft Teams".
When i do live streaming on teams with audio music in the hall, the sound in teams is not as sharp. How do i make sure that the sound is clear and sharp?
pretty comical that this still hasn't been fixed
massive downvote for this comment:
I bought headphones with a vol control right on the headphones. $30 on Amazon. Do your due diligence and get what you need.
please add this feature
Hey Teams Engineering - please fix call volume in Teams desktop app.
When listening to music, joining a WebEx, Zoom, Skype call, my headphone volume stays the same. BUT, when joining a Teams call, the sound shoots way up to 100!!! Super loud. Unacceptably loud. Even after adjusting the Teams call volume in "advance sound settings" the next time I hop on a Teams call, the sound goes back up to 100.
This seems like an easy fix for Microsoft?
please add volume control asap :)
I have Teams set to 1% volume in the Volume Mixer. It should barely be audible, but I can still clearly hear it over other applications that are set at 100%. The application appears to be boosting the audio without an option to disable it.
I FOUND A FIX!
For windows 10, at least. Go to start > settings > system > sound. Under advanced sound options, click on 'App volume and device preferences', and adjust the volume for teams as you like!
until now, TEAMS has no built-in volume control. It is actually controlling the audio level of other media apps in my laptop. I cannot lower the volume of TEAMS over other media app playing in the background or foreground.
Ridiculous. I'm having to hold my headphones away from my ears to avoid ear shattering volume. Probably damaging my headphones too...….
Which master volume works for adjusting Teams????
Master volume on taskbar? Nope - teams doesn't respect master volume
Master volume in settings? Nope - teams doesn't respect master volume
Master volume in App volume and device settings? Nope - teams doesn't respect master volume
every Teams meeting has the volume blasting at 100%. This is truly a painful issue for everyone but - IMAGINE the PAIN when you wear HEARING AIDES!
#metoo - Teams penetrates your ears and hurts more than a pain **********.
Yea why would you develop an app without this feature, super stupid move if you ask me...
Please add the function to control the volume of a Microsoft Teams meeting, within the application.
(Not to be confused with your device volume control, this should stay independent).
