Show all Content Types in 'New' dropdown from Files tab
When adding additional content types to a SharePoint library surfaced in a Files tab in Teams, the content types do not appear under the 'New' option inside the Files tab in Teams. They do appear in SPO.
In this example a new Content Type based on a Word file template has been added to the Document Library called 'Decision paper'. Here's what that looks like:

What is going on? Status have not changed since February 2018!
I'm using the Website Tab to achieve this today, but it should be part of the Document Library Tab

This is really important. Users will need to go back to the SharePoint site to access custom content types. This eliminates the single point of entry vision.

Its crazy that this doesn't work.
Hi, fully support for this request. I mostly need "add link" feature. Now I have to open files in browser, and that takes some extra time at every case I need it.

Will this possible when we will get the SharePoint ribbon from the Document Library in Teams directly?

How is this not supported - basic SP Enterprise functionality.
Need to make sure it supports the underlying Attached template file.
