Support markdown template(s) for new posts in a channel
I would like to be able to configure one markdown template that would automatically be injected into any new posts made within a specific channel. For example, if I have a channel allowing employees to submit change requests, there are certain details I would like always included, and a standard format makes it easier to process this information. This template should only apply to new threads in the channel. Follow-up posts/questions could be written without any template whatsoever to discuss the original post. Anyone creating a new post would see the template in their editor, allowing them to fill in the blanks and so the information we need to get from those posts can be processed quickly and easily. This feature would also be great for automation (using bots or other automation techniques).

I like this idea a lot. Is there any way we could incorporate a channel template? IE any time a new project team channel is created, there would be the option to choose the project template containing specified Tabs?
love this, but would prefer an option where the user has the option to select a template from a list templates for each post
Would be a great idea.
2 options :
- Either the template is automatically integrated when you click on the area to create a new thread
- Either you have a new button (among Format, Attachment, emojis, Gif) where you can choose a template from a list that the teams owner created.
Love the Idea, not sure at this implementation of it. Would prefer perhaps a link to Microsoft Forms and increased automation style like what is mentioned in the post.
