Planner access in chat
In Teams, on the Chat component, I'd like to be able to add Planner app as a tab. I have some activities that involve simply working with an individual (effectively, a team of One) and communicating via Chat seems more conducive to setting up a separate TEAM channel
Its 2020 and we're still waiting
I agree with this feature as well. It is a simple but very productive addition. Also would serve as a good equalizer with Trello.
I second everyone else's thoughts on this feature and need it for actions, decided on at direct report 121's.
Totally agree! Incredibly usefull and a must have. Thanks for bringing this up, David.
Microsoft has officially recommended to use Chat (rather than creating a Team) for 1:1-meetings (for example regular meetings between a manager and an employee). In such 1:1 Meetings, having a planner to track Tasks makes a lot of sense. I don't see why Microsoft would not want to have Planners in a Chat.

This is incredibly useful. I have to end up creating new Teams/channles to acomplish this.
I vote this as well!! also find it very weird you can do this with trello but not microsoft's own planner .. ? ...

I Want this capability badly! I use the chat window to manage smaller, short term projects.

Technically this is possible by adding a website and using the url of the Plan, however it would be better to have the ability to add a Plan as an app. I find it interesting that you can add Trello in a Chat, but not Planner.

I totally agree about this feature. This would be wonderful for 1-to-1 planning of activities like what typically happens between managers and their direct reports.
