Move the banner to the top right or allow setting to move it. It covers the text box.
The notification banner shows in the bottom right. Allow users to select where they want it (top or bottom). It covers up the text box so I cannot see what I am typing when it appears.
Aside from moving the chat notification box it would be great if multiple chat messages were shown listed in one notification space rather than having potentially 30-50 independent chat message notifications

That wàs simple enough
This is a huge issue with remote learning at the moment. Teacher asks the class of 30-40 children to add an answer in the chat, and all of a sudden there are notifications flooding in – all covering the text input box so you can't actually get to type what you need.
I don't understand why you need a notification for a chat thread you are actually looking at anyway!
We absolutely need this feature as the banner covers the input text it makes teams unusable, it would be also worthwhile to reduce the number of banner notification when teams is in focus.
This would be useful, please realize
Agreed, it is terrible design when the popup covers the input text box. The location should be configurable.
Totally agree, chat is unusable when these banner keep coming up and covering the text box.
Please add this feature, it is extremely frustrating not being able to move it
This is one of the more annoying things. I am already in the chatroom and can see messages, so I don't need messages to cover what I'm typing.
let us move and size the window ourselves.
Please make this more user friendly, let us move and size it.
Please add this feature and make it always pop up ontop of everything including full screen applications like remote desktop

A tiny pop up in the bottom right had corner of two 42" screens is useless. Let us drag it wherever we want it.
Please allow user to chose where it shows up. When you have your headset plugged in, but not on your head, it is easy to miss it when you have 2 screens and are looking at the opposite screen.

I work in the following manner:
I have a dual monitor/ screen VMware Horizon Session on the main, large monitors.
One of these is the Windows primary monitor.
In addition, the notebook display is the third monitor.
Typically, i do have Teams on the NB display natively, not in the Horizon sessions.
Now, when a call comes in, the call banner appears behind the Horizon windows.
Now you have to minimize the horizon sessions windows can click on the teams banner and start talking.
The same happens using Citrix Workspace.
I would like to freely place the location of the banner so that i can move it to the NB display and do not have to interact with the horizon session.
Then, if once placed somewhere, the next time a call comes in, it should be placed where the former banner was placed.
please add this feature
Yes Teams is meant to have the same features as Skype for Business, yet I can't change the notification screen. I am in a remote desktop session most of the day on my primary monitor. Hey guess what the Teams incoming call notification window doesn't show up on top of the RDP session so I can't see whos calling without minimising the RDP session, even with Teams open on my second monitor there is no notification within Teams itself for the actual call and no way to answer it there.

Having this as a setting would be the best...let the user decide where it is best for them!
Yes! Allow users to select where the banner appears! The lower right blocks an important area.
