Support for Airpods
I couldn't hear people talk nor could they hear me when I had my airpods connected to my device. Only happens with teams so I know the problem is not my airpods plus I have confirm with other coworkers who have the same thing happen.
Thank you for your feedback, the team is reviewing this ask. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
This needs to be fixed how can high end headsets not be supported. When will there be support for this?
It’s way overdue… Microsoft should have dealt with this long ago. Apple devices are leading high quality mass-market audio devices. Microsoft’s choice not to support this hardware is just making life difficult for their customers, and poor customer focus is the kiss of death any company.
Pretty terrible that this was submitted in 2018 and there’s still no fix in 2021. That just means Microsoft is WILLINGLY choosing to ignore the issue due to competition. Just means I’ll be giving more of my money to Apple and my next laptop will DEFINITELY be a MacBook Pro now. I was on the fence about the laptop before I was aware you’ve ignored this for literally years. Poor customer experience Microsoft.
I have the same issue. Aitpods doesn't work on my Dell Latitude with Windows 10 Pro. It was really harmful that I couldn't turn down the volume and it was on the highest volume level. Icould have become deaf

I require for MS Team to work well with the airpods. I believe MS team can improve it. It's not supposed to be difficult, it is just a matter of choice.
Same issue with us. Neither Zoom nor a teams work properly.
Please fix this issue. It has been 9 months.

Also allow AirPods Max to Mute/Unmute will be very useful.
Air pods are not supporting in teams, volume is not getting controlled.
I know there are bigger concerns in the world -- However, the ability to adjust the volume in an app should not be a challenge. With a name like Teams, it seems we should be set to play like one.
Thanks for increasing the focus on solving this one.

Please fix this! It's not like AirPods are a minority product!
Still not fixed? Come on guys, sort it out!
Like many others, I use Air Pods with MS Teams. The issue is well-described but I will add my commentary.
The volume within MS Control Panel, Settings, App volume and device preferences DOES NOT REMAIN SET. Each time I join a MS Teams meeting the volume of my Air Pods on MS Teams goes to 100. That is painfully loud. Each time I then need to navigate to the Control Panel settings and manually adjust the volume back to around 20 (out of 100).
How hard would it be to set a permanent default for a volume level?!!? It's absolutely petty and likely represents an unwillingness for MS to "play nice" with Apple.
Figure it out folks! You are damaging peoples hearing. How could that not represent a bigger problem and liability?
Please make AirPods and PowerBeats Pro work with Teams!
Please could Microsoft update on the progress with this? I have just purchased some airpods and am so disappointed to find that they don't work satisfactorily with Microsoft Teams.
I can't use Airpods Pro with Teams. They connect fine, and the mic works fine, but the volume is on full and cannot be lowered.
Why Microsoft is giving hard time to Airpod users on Teams? Its been months and months and still no fix from Microsoft. While using with Teams the volume on AirPods is so loud that it can almost damage the ears and it cannot be controlled from Windows volume control.
Is Microsoft waiting for someone to sue them before they fix this volume issue?
Please fix this!!!
Any updates yet? Has been quite a long time since nov 3th 2020
Just adding my name to the list of users experiencing consistent and persistent issues. I use Teams on my iPad Pro and it still doesn't work with both AirPods. Other app's and recordings work fine with the iPad Pro/ AirPod combo. I love O365 products but this makes me re-consider & it's discouraging to see. I didn't have this issue a while back and have gone through all of the updates. The devices have remained the same with the exception of a new work laptop. I couldn't get the AirPods to connect to either the old or new laptop. Just trying to use what I have. Do you have an update from the last one 6 months ago?
