Create Planner Task from a Teams conversation
I would like to easily create a planner Task form a Teams conversation.
e.g.: @Microsoft task: Enable Planner Task creation from a Teams conversation
A Suggestion should help to set additional information e.g.: due date
By default the bucket should match the channel
There is a way to create a private task. Then only visible in outlook.
That's basically useless for collaboration.
A possibility to select the target list would be valuable. In a team any available planner should be default.
FOUND A WORK-AROUND!
But this still seems like a no brainer for the Microsoft team to implement.

April 2021 now... Please finish this feature, we need this.
In the roadmap it has moved to march 2021.
The current roadmap release for this feature is this month, February 2021.

I need this otherwise Asana is an extra tool that will be supported to help us
I am using a third party app Wunder365 for Teams which does this wonderfully. It created a Planner task from conversation and linked it with the conversation. So whenever I visit the conversation, I can see the Planner task and track the status
Desperately need this for productivity. Disappointed to see it's been two years since this idea was shared and yet hasn't happened.

For now, adding a Planner Task should be quite straightforward in Flow:
Adding a To Do task should be possible using Tasks:

I'm not sure if this is within the scope ofthis request but it would also be good to create a task from a specific post by clicking on the elipsis and select something like "create planner task". The task should then include the text of that post and a link to it.
Yes, this is an urgent need now that we are telecommuting.
Yes, if you want to switch fro Outlook to Teams, then you need to have a task overview deriving from the communication with your colleagues. This is urgent to have.

I would absolutely love to have a feature like this - in Outlook, there's a Quick Step called "Create a task with the text of a message" that I use incredibly often, so something similar for Teams would be much appreciated.
