I have heard that "Chat" in teams is going to replace Skype for IM
If this is true, it is very concerning. I run a global helpdesk and the ability to IM with their peers while working on an issue with multiple other windows open is CRITICAL to their ability to work. If Skype is replaced with Teams Chat I will need to find another solution. Chat is too obtrusive; not at all conducive to multitasking. Also, I predict an increase in requests for a second monitor on the horizon so people can account for an entire window that Teams needs to take up so you can "chat" while working. PLEASE SAY IT ISN'T TRUE... or help me with how it's supposed to work.
