Why public team also limit to 2,500 members?
Just opened a case to Microsoft and they mentioned there is a limit of 2,500 members for a public team. If has the limit, why still call it public team? and if the company over 2,500 users, then what can they do?

Come on Microsoft...clearly lots of people need this and have done since before this post (January 18). If word gets out, companies will not opt for MS Teams as a solution for org wide engagement as the maximum member number of 2.5k is truly limiting, even for medium sized companies/org's! When will you increase this???

HI, I need this feature too - my organization is 7000 people and we need to be able to communicate and set-up channels for them. Even our sub-organizations are over 2500 people. Why is there a limit and when might this be increased?

I would love to hear how your case ended up. If there are any plans to increase this?
