Collapsible Team listing (2nd left panel)
Can you also set to have the 2nd panel on the left with list of teams collapsible down to the similar similar dimension as the leftmost one? Or even better, option to collapse the 1st and 2nd panel together, with the teams/chat-mates listed below?

Collapse the "Your Teams" column in the same way that the <- -> in the Files pane expands it, or the same way that newer OneNote collapses all columns when using the book stack icon, or the same way that VSCode collapses the Explorer column when clicking the icon for that column once or twice.
If someone really would try to use teams daily, and being part of several teams, the left side listing the teams and channels is soooo long, that it takes too long to find the teams that we are looking for. Instead, it would be great to have a master button on top of the list, to collapse-expand all teams, so quickly scroll and find the right team.
I am afraid how this will look after 1-2-3 years of my work.... I do not want to end up like facebook (an uncontrollable ocean of posts floodded on the screen) If this is a work tool, and not entertainment, then we must be efficient. Also, the side scroll bar is so tiny to pick it properly with the mouse in one click, that it induces me to scroll all the way down.
As a workaround it is not a solution to move few teams on top of list. I have too many teams in daily usage. I cannot rearrange the teams more times a day regularly. Thank you!

Very useful - that will give us more real estate especially when using OneNote in Teams
This would be useful when presenting; often I'd like to present using the tabs within a channel, but I don't always want the list of teams and channels to show.
the key one for me is the teams. while working in a channel i don't need to see all the teams and channels. i want to be able to focus on the channel. it does this when shrink the size in a resposive way. they just need to add a hambuger control to the same thing manually. like they do in all the other applications.

@Anonymous - after I voted I found that most of the sections that you can access (Files, Planner etc) have an option to expand/collapse tab.
