Share pointer while screen sharing
TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.

This feature remains on the backlog, while we work on other high priority Meetings features.

For training and demonstrations this would be invaluable. Perhaps with the option to draw on screen too...?

I can't believe that this remains on backlog. Please bring Teams into this century's technology.

Teachers NEED this: we are asking children who have SEN and/or EAL already quite a lot without not being able to point at what they should be focusing on.

This would really make life massively easier, please prioritise since so many institutions are using your platform to deliver content as lessons!

Oups ! A pointer when presenting a course to students using Teams is not considered as a priority !? What a shame to hear that. Everybody needs it.

It's unbelievable that in @TEAMS the cursor/pointing facility is not available from day 1, let alone now. It's a must for any online presentation. Especially in these stay at home times of CV-19.
Get it in asap please ! -

This is an high priority feature!
We're keeping saying "next to that, in the bottom... oh no, not that..." in our (virtual) meetings.
Please, put this feature request up on the dev list. -

I would be interested in the list of "other high priority Meetings features". In times of covid-19 I agree that pointing is especially important for students. I myself work in a software development company and we also miss that feature a lot (we currently switch from Circuit to MS Teams).

2yrs is too long for this one to be on the back-burner. I agree with the others in that this is a highly important feature. Meeting attendees need to be able to point to items being shown in meetings so that all can see. It's highly indispensable when sharing complex drawings. This function need not be assuming control of the pointer. The company I work for is leaving Circuit in favor of MS Teams and this is a feature in Circuit missing in Teams that is already being made a topic of discussion in virtually every MS Teams meeting we get into. Need just a wee bit of escalation please...

Please add this pointer on shared screens next. It´s more important than "other high priority Meetings features". We miss it in each Meeting. That´s been the reason we never used skype, and were crossing fingers to have it in teams.

TIP: For the time being you can use several mouse options (mouse properties) to color the pointer or "show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key" (eg. for instruction movies). Very useful.
And in power point presentations you can already use the laser point (right mouse click) -

This would be a VERY helpful feature. With the preponderance of great features already built into Teams it is time for this to move to High Priority
