Share pointer while screen sharing
TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.
This feature remains on the backlog, while we work on other high priority Meetings features.

this feature is absolutely neccessary for a fast and good communication. My workaround is getting the control for the mouse. But I do not want to really control the presenters PC.
Please add this

pretty user unfriendly compared to Zoom, no narration tools, how do you expect us to "meet" or you mean just chat?
this is one reason we use Mikogo because it allows the pointer
Unfortunately it's missing. Very needed.
Agree. This is an important feature that's missing.

It's an essential feature. Honestly, this is a request from 2018 with such an high demand

I present my lectures in Teams and I want to present my powerpoints with a pointer from my MacBookPro. Is a must have to stay with Teams.

I agree! I want to present in Teams and simply have my students see the mouse/pointer!!! I have to switch back and forth from Power Point Independent window view to Teams view and it is a hassle!!! Please update!

It is a must have!
Can‘t be that difficult to implement, though.

Pointer being visible during powerpoint sharing is a necessity. WE look forward to this addition.
Have a great day!
this is a MUST HAVE! we switch from Skype to Teams and It's really a quite useful tool when you are sharing uploaded PPT content
My company just switched to Teams as well, and this issue is inexplicable and inexcusable. Beyond words, really. What can possibly be more important than this, that the issue hasn't been corrected years afterward? Let me guess...you guys are all tied up working on new emojis to integrate into chats, calls, and meetings. I have a certain emoji in mind right now...can you guess which one?
I also started to use MSTeams, beginning of this month, as my company switched to Office 365 and Teams.
While I really appreciate the fluidity and audio quality - both excellent and a breakthrough vs the prior system we were using -, the lack of this auditor pointer feature is really disabling for the meeting excecution.
This is especially true in international meetings where that feature is a great mitigation of the language barrier.
It's outstanding to see that the user demand exists since 2018, and that it is recognized as useful by the development team, but not available more than 2 years after !
I'm not sure what "high priority meeting features" are on the top of the pile for developpers, but this seems to be a failry simple thing to add, and, in a professional use.
Probably more useful than some fancy stuff like funny smileys or animations that I suspect being above in the feature-to-implement stack.
The workaround (using "control") is hardly adapted to multi-user feedback, especially when it's applied to cases where what is shared is a little bit more technical than a plain PPT.
Beyond offering an audio gateway from a good old phone, this is the only feature that I am missing, and, from the thread below, we are quite a few suffering from this lack.
@Microsoft : Great to have implemented a feedback system. Better to push the idea to then end by taking into account collected feedbacks more switfly. (2y in IT field is an eternity !)
It's so disappointing that MS teams does not support annotation or even pointer. It can be no competition to zoom or tencent meeting without this feature.
wow, last comment from MS was in January, and the request started back in 2018... sad. Is anyone listening?

What's the point of having to share and present slides online but not have the feature of a pointer?
YES PLEASE ADD THIS!!!!
Please add a pointer! It´s high priority for teachers
