Share pointer while screen sharing
TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.

Slack already has this. We are in the middle of integrating Teams and this is a big piece that is missing for users who are all used to this feature in Slack.

I'm trying to point to stuff on dense web pages to guide new team members on navigating through our internal dashboards etc. It's very inconvenient to not have the cursor showing up.

I Support the comment /opinion from Christian Gärtner! Without the pointer you can only tell what you mean, sometimes causing confusion! It would really be helpful if you could implement this.

The tool "Fastviewer" has this feature. You click on the presenters screen and the presenter and all others see where you are pointing.

This feature is a must (in my opinion). Other Screensharing tools already have this feature. I spend a lot of time when guiding someone via Skype/Teams through a application and describing where the person has to click.

Anyone who has used a tool with this feature knows how many hours (literally) of otherwise wasted meeting time this has saved, and will be reluctant to move to Teams as long as this simple capability is missing.

This is for sure a Prio 1 feature for everybody who used FASTVIEWER in the past and where TEAMS is not yet sufficiently equipped for shared presentations during meetings

I would love to use the surface pen aswell. Trying to use is as normal (klicking the button for the next slide) fires up whiteboard. I would love to use this convienient way of presenting with my surface pen.

this is for sure a prio 1 feature for everybody who used fastviewer in the past - it is absolut essential.
And to be clear: Its not pointer sharing - its just being able to point at a picture while you are talking about it and somebody else is showing it! -

Our company with thousands of users really misses this feature because we are used to this from FastViewer.

I confirmed with Microsoft that what I am referring to here is not possible currently prior to posting the idea.
