Share pointer while screen sharing
TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.

This feature remains on the backlog, while we work on other high priority Meetings features.

This is necessary for online learning. I cannot emphasize enough how hard it is to do a radiology class where you have to tell the teacher 3-4 times to get a pointer or re-explain how they have to share their screens, not upload the PPT in teams. Lots of wasted time.
Why is the emoji feature in the works but not this???

Cursor needed! I've searched everywhere online to figure out how to show my cursor and ended up here. Good to know I wasn't losing my mind trying to figure out what was going on. This is a much needed function. I'm unable to focus on key points in my presentation. I have to use screen sharing presentations instead.

Very important, please include laser pointer function!

Very needed feature!! Although this view is great, the fact that we can't show the pointer makes it not very useful, because showing the pointer helps to pass the message and to focus the attention of the participants.

It is really unbelievable that this feature is still on the backlog. This is the most basic feature you would want to have in a collaboration tool like Teams.

Today I really needed this feature.

The amount of digital presentation in Teams increases in my work, and probably for many of us during this time, so yes, please make this priority number one!

We are using Teams to teach at the moment - it's so vital to be able to point at a board (e.g. indicating where countries are on a map) - please prioritise this!

Business needs are basic--every sales, executive, administrative user that wants to use a basic tool needs to wait to get the advanced features over a basic expected need? Microsoft needs to align itself to the needs of the customers.

I love teams but this would be so helpful (in reverse though) instructor point on students screen. When you doing hands on instruction this is critical.

This feature us a must while doing screen sharing. Otherwise others in the meeting need to describe what they are talking about. Also a drawing feature to highlight is desirred, in combination with a print screen feature.

Many companies have remote control switched off, which means you have to verbally guide them when they are sharing their screen. Adding a functionality to not control the screen but still be able to guide a pointer across the screen would really increase efficiency of screen shares/remote assistance.

This feature was requested since 2018. I'm surprise how Microsoft cares about it.

Education, training, and all manner of instruction is happening via Teams, more now than ever before. With teachers, students, IT professionals, information workers, and so many others working remotely, this feature is quickly becoming a critical necessity for remote teams. Please reconsider the priority in light of the new world we find ourselves in.

Please consider escalating this in the backlog. I was just in a meeting where the presenter was sharing his screen but we kept losing where his cursor was pointing while he was describing some technical material (with code).
It would be great to include some ability for participants to also take control while asking questions or to draw a short lived graphic on the screen that everyone can see (think, circle an item or highlight code while asking a question.

It would be ideal to have the ability to use the mouse as a laser pointer when sharing PPT via TEAMs. Even better would be the ability to change the pointer to be a cursor or highlighter or maybe even a lasso loop. Anything to draw the participants' eye towards something on your slide. Thank you!
