Notification at file upload on team
Notification should be come in conversation tab when any body upload a file on team. Other wise other team members don't get the update about that file.

This is very important. My team is uploading new files and adding comments or making changes to that, but nobody knows unless they go check the Files tab. A notification of a new file or that an existing file has been edited would be amazing.

This is important. PLease add
Even when accessing a Team library in "Open in Sharepoint" and copying a set of files to it, not all files are copied. We've asked our employees to perform validity checks to ensure any files not copied are copied again manually (one by one, if necessary). Please resolve ASAP.

Yes. please implement & configure this option in next Microsoft teams update.
It is quite appreciable if you implement this on priority basis

The uploading part should happen after you click send.
Above mentioned case happens even with me . i forget to send the file when i change the chat window and assume that i have already sent
happened many times .. some kind of notification or autosend option should be provided
agreed. please add. Also if someone has the flow, please post link.
Need this to happen!
When uploading a document, are notifications sent to other channel members? If not, is there a way to @ channel members when uploading a document? Or do users have to go to the conversation/chat tabs in order to alert other channel members of the upload?

This should have been "THE FIRST" thing to be "builtin" to Teams.

This is a very good idea and one that we would highly recommend

This is a big weakness in Teams, the usability and performance of the file attachment feature while using inline chat is really poor and really unreliable with lots of glitches.
It needs to be re-designed and re-implemented from the ground up.

Whenever I upload a file that takes some time, I often leave the chat that I am uploading the file to. It would be nice to have some sort of notification/setting that when the file is uploaded it notifies you. OR it just automatically sends when the upload is complete. Too often, I forget about the file I was sending until later in the day.
I would like you to implement a feature to send a notification about file uploads to users when we create a team.

Improve features in Microsoft Teams
Please notify users by sending notifications to conversation threads of Microsoft Teams when files uploaded to channels are updated.
In addition to that, allow users to “Like” to all conversations at once because users put “Like” to others’ conversations to let others know “I read your message”.
Thank you for your consideration.

Currently, there are no notifications for file changes or new uploads. The ability to push a notification rather than requiring someone to follow a channel would be helpful.

Uploading files hasn't been working either on the web or using the desktop app. It shows file upload failed, but when refreshed it shows the file is in with 0kb of data. So it didn't upload at all.
Trying to open a file that was uploaded shows "Couldn't Open the Workbook".
Teams needs a lot of work if you want to make this a professional business app. I'm trying to use this with our Engineering Department and Teams is not cutting it for any files.
Get a notification when someone uploads a file. Especially in the activity section.
