Bluetooth is terrible in Teams. It doesn't work at all!
Bluetooth behavior is erratic at best. When driving, It's essential that calls can be handled using the normal car controls. Currently I have a choice of either:
a. remembering to sign out of teams every time I get in the car, then remembering to sign back in after
b. being distracted while driving by a ringing handset I can't answer with the steering wheel controls
c. remembering to set a divert to my cell PSTN number (on the same handset!) which I can answer (and then remember to cancel the divert afterwards.
We've happily used Skype for years with no issues, the whole Teams calling is so half-baked it's hard to believe it comes from the same company that developed SfB.

I confirm DJ Smith comment. Bluetooth headset has for some reason stopped working with Teams. My headset connected with phone and works for all other apps and communication. How is this possible, please update app!

It's not that bluetooth isn't supported, it's just broken. You can switch audio devices but it immediately switches back to device audio. Absolutely infuriating.

JBL Bluetooth earphones does not get recognised in MT mobile app. In the android, I've tried giving all the permissions, reinstalling the app, re-paring the device, but still no luck.
Android OS, does show up the volume control for Bluetooth audio, but it is not getting paired with Teams mobile app.

Bluetooth works for a few minutes, but eventually switches to device audio and refuses to switch back. Every time I try to switch back to bluetooth, it immediately says "Device Audio" and switches back.
Did not work, as of today, for me. I am on Teams Version 1416/188.8.131.529082001
It is available now

Love teams, but the Android app absolutely needs Bluetooth. I thought u was missing something. How is this not supported?
This is absolutely essential to our Business' use of Teams.

Hurry up and fix this please, it would be nice to use a bluetooth speaker for my group meetings so everyone can hear.

The given post is very useful, however, If you are facing an issue with Asus tablet then check the guide given here https://errorcode0x.com/fix-asus-tablet-stuck-at-loading-screen/" and quickly remove all the technical glitches.
.... And that worked super briefly.
Not working anymore even with the "Location" permissions
Works! I figured it out!
I remembered that for Bluetooth, Android was requiring "location" permissions for several apps. Once enabled in the Android app my Bluetooth headphones are detected and working!!
- Navigate to "Teams" Android app in your launcher drawer
- Long press
- Drag/press to/the "information" icon (a circle with an "i" in it)
- Navigate to "Permissions"
- Enable "Location"
How are you supposed to use a video conferencing tool without headphone support?!
I am saying"headphone support" rather than "bluetooth" since many phones today ship without a headphone port making this the defacto method of using headphones!!

Honestly, it mind blowing that bluetooth support isn't there at all.

Add one more to the chorus of people asking how a company as large as Microsoft possibly thought that it was ok to ship an enterprise conference app without bluetooth support. Because no one ever takes meetings from the car or anything...
I'd been an evangelist for this in my department, because I found it infinitely better than Webex on the desktop. This, however, is a major issue, and I can't support us shifting to this product until it's fixed.

Definitely still an issue. It switches to bluetooth, but the audio on the other end is garbled and unusable. Pixel 3, Plantronics PLT.

Hello? Has there been a response on this issue? Not having BT in Teams is a major problem. Using my speaker is not an option.
