Glad I'm not the only one. Teams seems to work with a BT headset as long as the headset was connected before you launch teams. If you launch teams and then connect a headset then it won't show as an available audio device. The only fix is to force close the app and reopen with the BT headset already connected.
Today I had a new problem where teams locked my BT headset in call mode. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't use my headset for audio in any other app, but as soon as I force closed teams the headset went back to functioning correctly. It had been 12 hours since I was last in a teams call on my mobile. Cycling BT, re-pairing did nothing, only force closing teams fixed the issue. -

I have an android tablet and the bluetooth works with every other app and calls, but teams. I'm really tierd of trying every possible ritual to try to make it work!!!!
Please help! Due to the pandemic my kids take their school lessons online and it is a real mess when they all have lessons at the same time!!!!
I don't understand why all the rest of the apps are able to support bluetooth headsets but Microsoft Teams! Seems like teams is taking us to the stone age!!!

Today, same issue.
Galaxy s9+, Bluetooth works until, I get another call, after that it is impossible to switch audio to the headset... It just keeps toggling back to device. Same goes for a muting functionality.. If I am in a Teams call (over cellular) and get a regular phone call, when returning to teams I cant mute, in Teams.. The icon is grayed out... -

Anyone still got this problem or have a solution for this? My BT-headset works with all apps except MS-teams.

Terrible audio quality on Samsung S8 with two different bluetooth headsets. Both work fine outside of Teams. Worked before the 1416/1.0.0.2020100901 release. Now I hear weird compression artifacts and others can't understand me.
Why does Teams seem to have it's own bluetooth stack and/or audio stack? These headsets work fine on the device outside of Teams.

Bluetooth earphone/headset (yes, I tried both) does not work properly on my Android (Samsung Tab). Keep huming loud alien noise repeatedly once on the BT earphone/headset. Use wired earphone perfectly fine. BT earphone/headset works perfectly on other apps in the same Android Samsung Tab.
You got to do better MS Teams, I have no problem on other meeting apps.

Same for me - teams works with my bluetooth earbuds (TicPod) but will not work with my cars bluetooth despite the fact that every other app works with my cars bluetooth

My Samsung Galaxy S8 works fine for phone calls via Bluetooth, but does not work with Teams and Bluetooth. Very frustrating, as I am using Teams much more.

BT device not even an option as an audio device during calls. It used to work on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but when I switched to my new device it stopped working. All permissions are set to allow in the App settings.

hello, mobile app Teams does not work with BT devices' microphone. same issue here!
you can only here audio, but mic is not working.
same BT devices work on other call aps (viber, whatsapp) so it is definitely a Teams issue (even when all permissions are allowed). -

Same as some of the others. It'll connect via BT for a second, and then switch to the device. Happens in my car and with my headset. This recently started happening.

Up to the last week or so, Teams connected to my car via Bleutooth (bt) just fine.... now it won't connect at all. Ask other apps work fine via the car so bt is connected. Teams works fine with other BT devices.... so why has it speed working on my car? This costing me an hour a day off productive time....
I'm using Adroid (Samsung galaxy s10)

Updating permissions did not resolve the issue. Teams connects to the BT headsets (have tried multiple) for a second and then it switches back to device audio after joining a call. The bt headsets work perfectly for all other apps on my Andriod phone.
This problem only started recently. Previously I was able to use a BT headset within Teams. Teams is pretty shotty as a communications platform. -

My issue is somewhat different. It will work on Teams until someone tries to call me while I am on a Teams call. Then I get kicked back to the device audio and cannot get the Bluetooth to work without first going out of teams altogether. Same with WhatsApp if a phone call tries to come in while I am on a WhatsApp Call.
