Sometimes it happens, that a reply to a conversation is not created (by user) as a reply but with a new conversation.
I must say, that this is happening very often.
Due to this fact, I request a feature to combine existing conversations into one!
That would be also helpful for conversations that are created by receiving Emails with the Emails-connector. Often those conversation based on Emails should get combined or get connected afterwards.

The ability for a Team owner to combine conversations in the same Channel would be very helpful.
I know we can cross link such items - but it would be far more efficient if we could relocate converesations that are in the wrong channel etc
I think the UI needs to be different to avoid split conversations in the first place. This is probably a key flaw in Teams. When it comes to Channels, it very difficult to accidentally use the wrong one. But with "conversations" is incredibly easy. Hopefully, Microsoft has some solutions to this. If conversations show up indented under each channel that might be a solution but then it would create a new problem when the number of conversations gets large.
This issue is still unsolved, 2 years later...!
And there are other UserVoices about the same or closely related issues:
Really sad that even with the last one, which was confirmed as "working on it" almost a year ago, nothing has happened. If this was a Google service, it would evolve much quicker (with the risk of being suddenly discontinued...).

Also, when multiple customer emails come in regarding the same issue (that then get forwarded into Teams, it seem IMPERATIVE to combine into ONE conversation.
This would help significantly as we are experiencing this as well.

Even if this was an owner feature it would save me a ton of extra messages telling people to delete and click reply. This is extremely cumbersome and almost defeats the point of having an efficient platform. Maybe a quick solution is to implement a more colorful "reply" button to remind people to click it - OR when in the Team Channels, do not have a text box at the bottom - place a Button for [ Start a New conversation ] that enables the text box. Display a Text Label in the place of the text box that says [ Reply above Or Start a New Conversation ] - I think this would help out 90% of the time and clean up many threads.

This request is basically a clone of https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31822258-ability-to-move-a-conversation-inside-an-existing. Please can you merge them together.
Totally agree. Sometimes I realize that I've replied in the wrong field, which in turn has created a new conversation. I'd really like to be able to quickly chain it into the proper place within a conversation.

This is a great idea and makes a lot of sense in my mind, at least!
