nicknames
allow the users
a) to set a own nickname, which could be displayed when people hover over my icon
OR
b) allow me to set individual nicknames (=additional data, remarks) for a contact and show that when I hover of them
OR

I like c, but my main wish is to @ my co-worker "Jonny" so that it shows up as "Jonny," instead of "Smith, John Q." or whatever format my organization has set.
That use-case probably means I should only be able to @ a nickname they set for themselves (option a), and never @ the individual nickname for a contact I set (option b)

c. however in meetings, I think the original name with (person assigned self nickname a. ) should be present, and b. should be abstracted from others.

Think this would be useful especially for those users who maybe don't like their names and would prefer to be known as something else.
